FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
I have to admit that my mind is firmly under the water. And regulars here will know that I mean that literally!! I am off on my official vacation next week (although I have a little Vegas coming my way on Sunday for a day or two) and I can't wait to get on the plane, leave the country and get diving in warm water. So I have not been posting nearly as much as usual - although I have to say I miss everyones comments! I figured I'd get a post in before tomorrows CFR - another live show with Matt at 6.00pm West Coast time. And I also wanted to share a few new pics with you all - some nice Roxy/HOB ones coming through recently - thank you to everyone involved. And I hear that Mr Todd Newman over at the Spread organization has got a wonderful Camp Freddy Live video for everyone that he's put together. At 17 minutes long, we'll probably break it into a couple of segments and put it up for everyone to see. I'll get it from him as soon as I can. Thanks Todd.
There is SO much going on behind the scenes right now that its almost too much to itemize here! Freddy shows being fixed up, not only for Los Angeles and Vegas but also some other places....I will obviously give you details when stuff is confirmed, but its very exciting. A movie or two happening for me as well - one I am acting in, and one that I am a little more involved in, but both coming together very nicely. Some DJ gigs in Vegas and LA for me as well, along with a very brief NYC trip for a couple of business meetings. And all of that lot somehow getting fitted in the moment I get back from holiday. So I better make sure I enjoy that beach!! I am loaded up with Season 4 of Nip/Tuck, State Of Play (a UK drama), Season 1 of Californication (getting into it finally) and a bunch of random movies.
Still looking after the family here in LA right now so I think its time to sign off and go get some sushi. Nothing like a spicy tuna roll on a balmy friday night. Thats it - a quick check in. Back after the weekend - and I love that a few of you have asked some questions...I will answer all of them in the next post for sure. Thanks for all the well wishes and shout outs.
Peace
Billy

Ah, the folks are in from Africa. I know when family comes to visit then leaves I need a vacation! ;-)
Your NYC business meetings wouldn't happen to coincide with the Sept 14th Cult show at Roseland would it?...cause Deena and I will be there! ;-)
I'm bummed the summer rolled by so quickly, like in a flash and I'm trying to fill my dance card for September and October! To soften the blow that winter is around the corner!

Loving the life you lead right now, Mr. M--you really should write your autobiography, it will serve as a true story of how to turn your life around into something wonderful. I'm sure it would give hope to those who feel there is none.
I guess you can consider that my question--have you any plans to write one?
Have fun in Vegas and your much needed vacation--both of you!

Off for a dinner at "A Restaurant" tonight. Any chance Camp Freddy will ever make an appearance there?

Better late than never, I just took a look at the live video of EMI. Is Steve Jones wearing a Chelsea FC jersey?!?! And to think I LIKE the guy!... Now he's just dropping into the Gallagher brothers catagory! It's okay... My United lads beat their ass all year! HAHA
It may be posed as a "Q&A" question... Being an Englishman Billy, do you or have you ever followed (REAL) Football? If so, any particular team?

FYI if your taking Mom to anymore soap or perfume stores:
the trick to managing perfume smells is...
In between sniffing samples of perfume or soaps sniff a jar of whole coffee beans (most of these stores have them in jars). It cleans the nasal palate, kind of like the way mint sorbet cleanes the palate between food courses in fancy restaurants.

Hey!!!!
Want to say hi to u and matt and todd, keep rockin!
and if I can ask some love advice, how to overcome a break up and related memories, although I know Dave is eligable to answer that!hehe!

Hey busy man! Happy to hear that the 'important meetings' you alluded to worked out. Want a place to shop for soaps that DOESN'T smell? The Body Shop. All natural, not too expensive, good quality. Also, there's The Vitamin Shoppe. They sell some organic, all-natural brands. Again, the stores don't smell. Next time on ITunes, check out Devo. I think you might like them. Or www.playlist.com That one's FREE. Thoroughly enjoying the show. Hope to check out the vid compilation. Have a fun vacation!!!! We'll miss you, sweetie! C

KUDOS!!!!!! DAMN! I actually liked that!(Steve Lawrence song). But I'm someone who likes Nat KIng Cole AND Megadeth. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Grew up w/lots of diversity in music. If people complain? They should open up their minds(or get bent). Again many thanks. Maybe in the future you guys could play something else in the same vein?

By the way my message was not a prank!:P, all the respect to Dave!
if you dont want to give love advice!, I have a question for matt!
I have a theory!, matt, dont you think because you and slash played and gibly clark played in Slash Snakepit made the Guns n roses to break up?
By the way matt, love your hair in "live in Tokyo" DVD.

you mentioned recently - on air i think - that circus diablo may or may not be up for "round 2", but i was wondering since the players rotated thru a bit, did that or will that affect your decision to try again with CD? (it was awesome by the way & thank you sir may i have another?)

I've totally got a question for you Billy...
My mom and sister are coming down to visit me in LA and I want to take them out to a couple nice dinners...places that aren't too crazy pretentous, but still with a vibe they wont get anywhere else. Any recommendations?
Loved the compilation video Todd did of the May Roxy shows. Brought back many fond memories!! Can't wait till the next show :)

Slow down young man! As you and Dave said, you both keep busy to stay in good shape though!
Nip/Tuck season four was pretty bizarre! Now that you have started watching it you will be hooked. I am now waiting for the new season to start:)
Questions? You know I like to ask them? Did you see many movies this summer? What would be your favorite? As for me, I only seen one-IRON MAN! That was my fave. Have a great week! Db

Billy,
At this point in your career, would your schedule
ever allow you the opportunity at a "full time" band situation?
With the above in mind, does that scenario even appeal to you anymore?
Thank you,
Jay
