KEEPING UP WITH THE GOINGS ON.
Its getting hard to keep up around here! I have been frantically logging footage all morning from Week Two, Week Three, the Map Awards (LOVE this pic of Chester, Matt and myself from the Awards - nice one, Mike D!!) and the Sorum/Noce party and still haven't got it all in the computer. I was hoping to get a V-Blog edited up today but it looks like its gonna be tomorrow now, cos I gotta start getting my playlist together for CFR tonight. Still, I've looked at a lot of video today and it looks really good! We are having a great time up on the Strip, with two more shows left to do. We'll see some of you up at The Roxy next Thursday for another dose of MAYhem.
In the meantime, lets catch up a bit. First of all, those of you in the LA area might have seen the cool two page thing that the LA WEEKLY ran on me as part of "The People Issue". Also I did a shoot last week for Hugh Hamilton - check out his site BY CLICKING HERE FOR HUGH HAMILTON. We did a photosession for a book that he's doing on things that people have held on to since childhood and I brought along some scrapbooks that I have had for about 30 years! - I like the one that I've put up here. Nice work Hugh!

What else? Well, Camp Freddy did a photoshoot with Ross Halfin for Classic Rock magazine, and I am beginning work on the movie "A Perfect Age" this coming week, along with preparing for Week Four of the residency. Oh yeah, and I restarted my lacklustre efforts over at MODERN GUITARS!! They gotta be the most tolerant people in the business!! I dropped a new blog after about a year!! Saw a bit of drama going on about people photographing the shows - let me be really clear. I do not have the power to say yes or no - I cannot authorize people to do anything!! I really dont have that say. As far as I know, ANYONE can take pictures at The Roxy....no special permission needed. But don't ask me, cos I dont know!! Just show up and take pics - no big deal!!! Also the new Flash intro is getting some love! I think the version thats up now is the best one - and I am gonna keep it for a bit - again a HUGE thanks to tech genius Edwin, who figured it all out for me. Glad I could help with that situation out front last week, and glad to see UC and all the peeps along the front row - very cool.

Thanks for answering my question about the photography, Billy! Thats what I kinda figured...the whole thing was quite confusing...I know I took TONS of pics of you guys! hahaha
Thanks again for an unbelieveable show, it was a very special night not only because of your AMAZING set list/guests...but because east coast met west coast and it was a total blast!
Now I HAVE to attend the last two shows! :)

Yep, we're home from Columbus.
It was SUCH a fun time with my West Coast Family! YOU GUYS made our 3000 mile trek to Hollywood! :-)

Saw a great Billy Idol docucmentary recently, thought of you immediately when they mentioned the "Bromley Contingent". Remembering you'd spoke of that time period before and was wondering if you had the chance to ever see Chelsea or Generation X back in the day - any special memories of that time period?

Billy, Serious congrats to Jennifer! Thanks for all the updates on the shows. Each description and play by play is awesome. Props to Edwin on the intro, really cool. I truly wish I lived "a life less ordinary". I know I have asked this 2x before but, I have to know, did you do the Queen cover with Robbie? I swear it is you, the video never shows a clear picture but, by the style and movements, I think it is you. Peebs, glad you had an awesome time. How cool to go from one gig to another. Thanks to everyone who made our trip amazing--UC, Kate, Amber...(Kate how CUTE were your boy and my girl? ha ha)
All the usual CF suspects PLUS Chad smith and Mike Inez and Jerry cantrell--how much more amazing can it get? My wishlist is fulfilled..I wish I could make the last 2 Roxy shows.
