MORRISON GOES TO DINNER
Please note that this is a large file size. A high speed connection is preferred.
Of all the things that I get to do in my life, diving has to be the one thing that shuts the voices in my head up completely. In all other parts of my day, there is always some planning, arranging, writing, singing, questioning .....some shit in my head that makes it a noisy place to live. Thats probably why I did drugs for so long - after a while the noise gets louder and louder until I have to do something to turn it off. It used to be smack. Now its diving. Along with a few other things. Granted, the drugs were a daily noise suppressor, and diving is only a few times a year. But it stays with me for weeks afterwards and gives me a sense of peace that no drug ever supplied me with ......plus the smack was killing me, and unless one of these sharks takes a bite outta me, I'm not dying from this!! So I want to let this blog do the talking for me. Enjoy it - its about 7 and a half minutes long, so I hope yer on a high speed connection!! If not, don't worry cos I'll throw it up on the Morrison TV YouTube page as well in a day or so. Oh, and to answer the question - the DJ gig was a little strange because I spin out and out Rock music and the club at Atlantis is basically corporate types and tourists. The song before I went up was a Michael Jackson song. The song after I spun was The Bangles. Nothing wrong with either of those two, unless you're in the middle playing Prodigy, NIN and some ACDC!! So enjoy, kick back, and I'll be back at the weekend. Next week is some Diablo activity with a couple of rehearsals and the Irvine show. Until then - I'll see you on the other side.

Wonderful footage of the shark diving Billy.
If the rock and roll thing doesn't work out you can always be the next Jacques Cousteau.

NOW that's what I call a bathroom! Damn I should of gotten a tub like that installed!
(well if I wanted to push my remodeling bill up a few more grand!)
I liked the Dave/Todd/Perk v-blog cameo.
But the swimming with the sharks...WOW. I give you and the other divers a load of props because if it were me....I would have shit my wetsuit! One question-who did the underwater camera work?? Was Jen the other brave soul?

Thanks for sharing all your footage, always a pleasure.
Now that you are back from the dive safely, what about a shark bite tattoo on your torsoe? Or is that tempting fate a bit too much? ;-)
I will see you in Irvine!

That film footage of the shark dive was WONDERFUL, Billy, thanks for sharing it. I know exactly what you mean about diving giving you a sense of peace; have you done any deep diving at all? I find that particularly does it for me.

WTF? Anyway, Billy, I have yet to view the vblog but, just wanted to comment on the shark pics. They are awesome & wish I had the "balls" to do that. Sharks are my worst fear & I know in life you have to face your fears to overcome them. I also feel they would sence my fear immediately & take me down in a heartbeat!! On another note I have a question regarding smack. I am just finishing The Heroin Diaries and after reading Dave's book & listening to your drug stories. Im curious to know, when a person does smack, do they ALWAYS throw up after shooting it or is that only at the begining/end or just occasionally? You'd think that would be a big turn off. Dont get me wrong I understand the whole addictiveness of the drug and what people will endure for a high. Just wondering.
Thanks for sharing. Niki

As scarry as it is to watch, I'm very happy to hear you have something to calm down your creative mind instead of something distructive. that's incouraging. I used to write music alot but my poor mind was overwelmed. ends up i'm bipolar and the stuff they give me makes me maybe less creative but i'm here. So have fun. At least you're being kind to the sharks and not sports fishing them.
