LOVE BITES IN THE BAHAMAS

STOP PRESS: Just got these photos in, and although I am running around crazy today, I had to get them up here before the day starts. You can see just how close and how many there were, and they give you an idea of just what it was I did!! I GOTTA be crazy!! See ya tomorrow with (hopefully) a V-Blog for your delectation and delight!

A quick one before I nip down to the dive shop to go and feed the sharks. Yep - FEED the things! No cage, no chain mail suit, and a waiver signature in case on of em bites me!! Jump off a boat in the middle of the ocean, sink to the bottom and stay still while the divemaster chums the water and invites a bunch of 10ft sharks to dinner. My love affair with sharks reaches a new high today. I'll give you a detailed blog of the whole weekend when I get back, but the DJ thing was last night (very strange!!) and I have been filming a bunch, so the V-Blog is coming your way. Have to give a Big Blog Birthday shout out to our girl Lisa - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! And also - in answer to your question, Claire UK......we don't know what Koch's UK release plans are for the UK. The UK fans should write and call the label and ask!! So thats it from me. Time to go risk life and limb for a good photograph and a great story!!

Peace

Billy

Love bites, that's funny. When you post the blog perhaps you should have that song in the background, I'll tell Phil C. you will be sending him royalties!

Ummmmmmmmmmm you never said ANYTHING about NOT being in a shark cage or chain suit!

*shudder*

Plus I want to hear (if you make it back alive) what was so "strange" about the DJ gig!

Have a GREAT dive, Billy, and post loads of pics! I'm soooo jealous of your diving in the Florida Keys, it is LOVELY there. I can't wait to do some diving in St. Lucia after Christmas (don't fancy it in the UK!), but will stick to admiring lovely fish and enjoying clear, warm water. I'm not nervous of sharks, but I do worry about sea snakes - have you ever encountered one on a dive?

Hi Billy- glad you are having fun. You are TOO SWEET to remember your fans bdays:)

Have a great week!!

If a shark does mess with you, I think you can take 'em!

Incredible pics! What kind of sharks are they?

I opened the first photo to make it bigger and the EXACT words that came out of my mouth outloud was "HOLY SHIT".

Makes my little 3 foot thresher from this past summer seem like a gold fish!

Hey, don't go getting yourself killed by those sharks. You are far too adorable and talented. What a waste that would be. So what did happen at the DJ gig? A couple of years ago I saw you at my job. I did'nt know who you were but I made a little scene anyway. Remember at a certain spa in the desert? most likely not. Anyway have a great time out there.

Why is a talented man like Neil S. writing shit about the "Game?" What an asshole.

Maybe it's me, but in that third picture it looks like Jimmy Page next to you, before he went grey.

Wow... That's insane. Which yes, makes you insane. What one word would you use to describe that experience?

Posted by: Jenn at October 16, 2007 10:23 PM

Thank you for posting those WONDERFUL pictures, Billy, those sharks are MAGNIFICENT, that second photo especially is STUNNING. How deep were you? How long was the dive? Full details and more pictures, please, it looks so amazing!

as long as you are alive and well to tell us about it in CFR this week, is what counts. not that you must have gone temporarily insane

what did you feed them anyway? and they didnt bite anyone?

Oh man Billy thanks so much for the gorgeous pics. I am jealous of you getting to swim with the sharks. Any turtles? Can't wait for more details!
