FASHION WEEK AGAIN!

Yeah - again. Its been Fashion Week here in Los Angeles. And it ended for me last night with a killer party in the penthouse of the Chateau Marmont, held by Rock N Republic jeans. I DJ'd for about an hour and a half and had a great vibe going - plenty of rock classics and a good crowd. Its a beautiful view from there of the whole of LA at night and I finally caught up with Matt Sorum as well! Haven't seen him since VR left to go on this tour, so it was good to see him. Those guys have a week off and then we will all be meeting up at the Irvine show which Circus Diablo will be opening. That means rehearsals for me next week!!

I also dropped down to Smashbox a day or so ago to check out the new Bird Of Prey line, by my old friends Peter and Rene at Grail. This is going to be the high end 'couture' line for those guys and its gonna rock. Crazy, bold designs and as always, killer prints and fabrics. Congratulations guys - and thanks for having me at your show. The week also included a great T-Mobile Sidekick party and a private screening of Withnail And I by clothing designer. Paul Smith. Todays pics have been blatently stolen from Getty and WireImage. Because I ran out of time and wanted to throw a pic or two up!! Sorry guys - dont be hatin'.

Peebs - The underwater camera work was a girl from the dive shop. My wife actually drew the line when I told her I was going to feed sharks without a cage. I believe ...."Fuck Off, you're crazy" was the precise wording.

Beth - A shark bite tattoo?? I think you're right - tempting a little too much fate, seeing as I still have the 'Caged Great White Shark Dive' on my To Do list.
Paula - Although I have been to the limits of recreational diving (130 ft), I dont really enjoy deep diving because the water is colder, darker and the colors are not as bright. My ideal dives are the 60 - 80ft reef and wall dives. I like to see a lot of fish, and want as much color and diversity as I can get while I am submerged.
Niki - Well......I dont really think there is a 'standard' for throwing up while using drugs! I mean, most people do at some point. But some do it EVERY time. Me, I wasn't a puker. I can't believe I'm answering that one! But you did ask.....
Alec - Thanks man. Have a great time in Trinidad. Some killer diving there!!

Billy if you want to *ahem* borrow some photo's of yourself from Getty w/o the watermark try this site:

They put the watermarks at the bottom and not across your face. (but they are only Getty pic's there not wireimage)

I once met a guy with a tattoo on his elbow of a boats propeller. Why? Because he had a run in with his boats propeller and almost severed his arm. So he marked the nasty scar and the fact they were able to save his arm with a commemorative tattoo (along with the date of the accident). I think you celebrate tempting fate AFTER the fact...

AND you realize that the Irvine CD/AIC/VR show is the day before Scott's 40th Birthday. 5 Years ago I don't think anyone thought he would see 40. So bring him a cake and give him a Birthday smooch from me ;-)

I'll be tuning in tonight for the Navarro/Morrison CFR! I want to hear if you guys swap Bahamas stories...how he swam with "Flipper" and you swam with "Jaws"!!!

Finally got on without crashing, something w/Flash gets me nearly every time.

Great interview. Forgive me if you've answered this but as I said, can't always access you (although Robin usually keeps me in the loop)...did you see the new Halloween yet? AWESOME! Rob Zombie did it just right.

I agree about The Grudge, I can't put my finger on it but something in that movie creeped me out completely.

HI Billy. I just read the interview, and I wanted to say i'm glad you have your site up for the reasons you do because it lets people know where to go to see your gigs and that you're acting. I first looked you up to see if you were still touring with the cult. This is alot more fun. I'm pretty much stuck in the house living on social security and i'm not allowed to drive because of my bipolar and seizure disorders. it's boring.(Think jail) So i'm just discovering how to use the computer and I love your site, especially because of what you've been through. I'm also teaching myself the guitar by ear (I can play 3 songs so far.) Anyway keep it up.

You seem to be really good at multi-tasking. Sometimes I feel like doing everything, but end up doing nothing. When you try to be everything to everybody, you end up with burnout. Like that time Mariah Carey collapsed onstage from exhaustion. Not that I listen to her stuff. I just heard about it on the news.

Life is weird sometimes. You end up with a million people hitting on you AFTER you're married. You end up joining a band after you've announced that you're quitting music. You end up needing your synthesizer after you got rid of it. You end up buying season tickets for the Patriots after you'd sworn up and down that you hated football. etc. etc. etc.
