NO GOOD TV

STOP PRESS: Today is the ESPN2 interview with Circus Diablo, on the program SPEEDFREAKS. It airs at 1.30pm PST/4.30pm EST and then airs again at 2.30am PST/5.30am EST. If any of you technically minded people out there wanna record the segment and get it to me, I will throw it up on the sites for everyone unable to catch it today.

Did it again. A whole week. But then again I did leave town for four days! So I have an excuse. As usual!! Anyway, on to the happenings in my world….. and the first piece of news is that the LOADED video will get a full exclusive on NGTV.COM on 13th September. If you haven’t seen those guys yet, you are missing out. CLICK HERE TO VISIT NGTV.COM. They are one of the cutting edge internet TV channels, with a huge YouTube presence as well. So Circus Diablo are very happy to be working with everyone at the station – Ricky and I spent a couple of hours in front of the cameras yesterday talking about all things Diablo, and the LOADED video in particular, so keep your eyes on the channel. More details here as always.

Also, if you might wanna check out this online interview I did - actually, I am more than a little misquoted in it and paraphrased to hell, but whatever - CLICK HERE TO READ THE NAUGHTY AMERICAN INTERVIEW. And as usual, almost immediately after I threw this post up this morning, a few bits of press came rolling down the pipeline. I have to say that the album has been really well received and that makes me proud. Its a great rock record and I really hope that you all love the video to the first single as much as we do ...... So anyway, here's one of the press bits that came along today. Enjoy.

I am also going to be in Las Vegas on September 8th as part of the Rolling Stone party at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. I am DJ’ing there (LOVE doing that stuff!!) and I believe I am out by the pool this time, doing some Rock N Roll spins for the sunbathing beauties!! If you just happen to be there that weekend, stop by and say hi. But don’t request a song – you know how I don’t do requests!!

I fly back to LA the next day and go immediately to the set of Basement Jack – the next movie in my ever-expanding repertoire ….. who called me a Thespian??? How dare you, Sir??!! I am really looking forward to this film – I get to be a Detective, shoot a big gun, and die spectacularly ….. again!! I know there will be V-Blogs from the set again, so stay tuned.

What else? Well the wonderful folks at Dunlop shot this interview with us while we were on the Ozzfest - check it out by clicking on the video above. And more CFR this coming Saturday - it will be another Morrison/Leitch extravaganza, with Dave out of town again. Prepare for our usual whacked out, incomprehensible but irresistible charm and wit!! For now, that’s the update, but check back often, cos I’ll do a quick Stop Press if anything of interest turns up. Enjoy the rest of the week – tune in to the radio show at the weekend, and I’ll be back before you know it.

Billy

Hello,

The bit about Malibu was based on true events from my summer. Truly. Madly. Deeply.

Hope u enjoyed it.

Hey...whatever happened with the ESPN2 interview? Did they give you another air date?

Well, insomnia finally gave something back, I don't know how I never saw the movie Velvet Goldmine, but it was on last night in the middle of the night and I caught it--it was great!! I missed a part of it, it's on again on Logo today and then on 9/9.

Billy, have you seen it? Anyone who hasn't seen it needs to ASAP. Mark Arm, Thom Yorke, stooges...

Check it out

Cool interview even though I don't understand the "shop" talk on equipment.

(note to self....wake up ass early to see ESPN2)

OK.. gotta pitch my bud's movie. Go See Halloween!!! My buddy Karen and I just saw a midnight showing of it, and Rob did a fantastic job. Course, it's all filmed in my home town which just cracks me up. Lots of screamin, and Tyler is off the hook as Michael. That dude is TALL. Was very cool seeing Karen's name in the credits. She took me on a quickie tour of all the homes that were in the movie (I only saw the Myer's house personally when I went to the set). Saw the scene that Malcolm had been doing about 20 times when I was there, much fun.

ANYWAY... go see it. Kicks ass!

OK so I did NOT wake up at ass o'clock in the morning to see the interview :-( Mornings aren't my deal...

Anyway I got a bulletin on myspace from "The Joint" @ The Hard Rock that "tickets are now available for Sept 8th at the pool for 50 Cents. Tickets are limited as it was private until now" That show is at 10pm. (Snoop Dog plays poolside on the 7th). Billy, your definintely going to have to increase the "bling" that night! ;-)

Those Ozzfest interview are nutty, but informative.

Note to self: Must stand on THAT side of stage next time.

Hi Billy,

With the "LOADED" video debuting soon, I had a question:

In this day and age, are videos even (for lack of a better term) necessary and are they considered a viable promotional tool that could actually lead to units sold by the industry in general?

Thank you,
Jay
