MORE ADD's, MORE RADIO, MORE DIABLO
Whats happening everyone? I'm back in full effect, and the big news is that your requests for Loaded at radio are really helping the cause. We are getting more and more adds each week, and the single is now #43 at Rock Radio, according to MediaBase. We are getting more spins every day and thats great news. Lets push it even further and get this song top 20 at Rock. We can't do this shit without you lot!!
Also, with the release date fast approaching (JULY 3rd EVERYONE!! - get out there and buy your copy soon), we have been doing a bunch of press every day. This week we have some acoustic on-camera stuff which is bound to surface in the next week or so. Some web stuff and some syndicated TV stuff. All I know for sure is to take my acoustic and try and look good!! We also have Rockline coming up on 9th July, ESPN2 on-camera thingy around the same time, Dave's SPREAD TV on July 5th, MusicPlus are doing some camera time in our rehearsal room soon.....its a little hard to keep track. But the reviews have been very favorable, and I am having a blast with it all.
At the top of the post is the new Metal Edge Magazine feature - a little Pre-Ozzfest piece to get you in the mood. Check it out on newstands now. And I also posted a pic that Wendy took from the acoustic performance I did with Donovan at The Hilfiger Sessions last week. It was held at The Avalon in Hollywood, and I played acoustic guitar with a string quartet, while Donovan sang Bowie's Man Who Sold The World, and Berlin's Metro. I then took over the mic and did Bowie's Life On Mars with the quartet, and I have to say I LOVED it!!! They were amazing, and they made a very difficult song to sing, seem a lot less intimidating!! I did a good job, I think, but enjoyed the challenge. A great evening, and thanks to the Hilfiger mob for making it so much fun.
There's probably a ton more to tell you, but I am running out of steam here. I'm exhausted right now, so I think I'll wrap it up and maybe post again in a day or so. Oh - one thing - there will be no CFR this Saturday as Indie will be broadcasting live from the LA Film Festival with Steve Jones. But thanks to Paul, we have the latest Podcast from last Saturdays CFR with Rob Patterson, available for your delectation and delight on the Podcasts page over on the left. That is if you STILL havent subscribed to the nifty Podcast thing over at I-Tunes. Delivers the weekly CFR fix right to your I-Tunes .....automatically you know. Wonderful.
See ya.
Billy

A "Timeless, song-oriented Rock band". Pretty cool description in that review above.
And I guess my first child will be conceived on July 3rd. Ha!

Francesca,
Thank you for taking the time to send your best wishes to Belinda. She has asked that we thank you for your concern. She is doing better and
is looking forward to a full recovery.
She hopes that all women take the steps to be aware of self-examination as early detection is the key to beating this disease.
A copy of your e-mail has been printed for Belinda to read.

Had to share. I'm going to the set of Rob Zombie's Halloween on Friday. They're reshooting several scenes with Malcolm McDowall, and my bud Karen says, it's Now or Nevah. Bwahahahhaha. I love living in LA!
NEXT WEEK! Looking forward to Running to Borders to pick mine up.

Ok.. questionne time. Got a bud coming in from Romania (of all places) in October. What are the odds of getting a Camp Freddy show going at the Roxy or Key Club round then, eh? I need my fix BAAAAAAAD Billy! LOL!

I couldn't stay for the whole thing, but I've got to say your voice is getting better and stronger... wow!
I'm sure it has to do with the quitting of the smokes. You sounded great!
