....AND....CUT!!!!
Yes folks. That, as they say in the business, is a picture wrap on Billy Morrison. Job done, movie made, game over. The wrap party and the premier are still to come of course, but the 3am make up sessions and crawling around the abandoned, haunted hospital are a distant memory now! I shot my last scene this morning – my call time was indeed 3.00am and I left the set as the sun was coming up. It was SO much fun to do – and I plan on doing a lot more of it. I already have another movie lined up for later in the year (which will slot nicely in between the summer touring and Diablo’s Fall plans) so I am keeping myself busy on all fronts. Many, many thanks to Chris, Brian, Eric, Alex, Rhonda, Paul, Elion, Susan, Josh and all the many people that made Evilution such a fun experience. Lets get covered in fake blood again sometime!!
OK, so my head turns to a few things now. The free show at The Avalon that Donovan and I are hosting is looming – June 19th to be precise. Listen to Indie 103.1FM or hit the Indie website for details, but its going to be a fun night, and absolutely free as well. Dono and I are going to do a couple of songs with the string quartet, which will be very different and should sound pretty awesome. And Fiction Plane, Emma Burgess, Whitestarr and others will be playing throughout the night. Its called The Hilfiger Sessions (being put on by Tommy Hilfiger) and I hope we see some of you down there.
Also July is just around the corner, and that means Diablo release day. July 3rd, people. Get out there to your local store and buy a copy of the record. THAT is what will keep the band on the road and headed in your direction. We will leave LA for the Ozzfest and beyond and I am really looking forward to finally kicking Circus Diablo into touring mode.
What else would you guys like to see on this site? I am not promising anything!! But I want to try and provide the content that you want. Obviously I will continue with the Podcasts (check it out – the Lukas Rossi show is now up, and Paul will hopefully be sending me the Dita Von Teese show soon) and the V-Blogs seem to go down well. I also intend to keep an On The Road With Diablo diary, much like I did on the Beyond Good And Evil tour with The Cult. I’ll build a dedicated page on the Circus Diablo site and link it to this blog so it should be easy to find. But if you guys have any ideas, feel free to let me know. I have always tried to let you all in as much as I can, and this is your place to hang, too. So don’t be shy – let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
I think I need to get some decent rest now, so enjoy the pics and I’ll be back during the week. For now, have a great Sunday.
Peace
Billy

Memo to Billy's sidekick (you know who you are):
If you keep bringing up the subject of sexual orientation...
If you post pics of yourself kissing members of the same sex on your website...
If you keep editing your conversations by deleting words that you think MIGHT be gay...
If you keep telling the world, "I'm straight, I'm straight, I'm straight DAMMIT!!!!"
Then after a while...
People will start to suspect the OPPOSITE.
See the word "Denial" at dictionary.com.
Peace to anyone who IS out of the closet on this Pride day.

how sweet it is for you to ask what we want. the only thing i can think of (aside from turining the site into Dr. Morrison's sex and love advice column) is say, first dibs on tickets to shows, VIP access, CD merchandise.. you know, like a contest or something to that effect every once in a while. maybe you do that already as i'm sort of new around here. the v-blogs are fun too. more of those. just keep up the killer blogging and thanks for sharing as much as you already do.

id like to hear soundboard recording s from various stages of the tour....allways cool to hear a band at the start and follow them to see how they progress.
billy a question.....how come no mention of the newest member to join the CD family?

My local radio station was actually playing Loaded last night, it sounds great! Any idea yet when the song will be available on Itunes?

I love zombies, can't wait until I can see the movie! Maybe you should play some CD shows in that make up?!
Do you know if Mondo Generator is playing the Roxy show? I know you had mentioned early on that they were not going to, but a few weeks ago Nick posted a bulletin saying they were, but I haven't seen any further info confirming that. Either way, I'll see you at the gig B :)

My ex-fiance was a Paul..1 of 3 Pauls I had the misfortune of having in my life. That name haunts me even more than Chris does. And Paul in the New Testament was the tormented one who had the thorn in his side and got thrown in jail. He was one unlucky dude!! I hate hearing or seeing the name "Paul". Sorry Paul (UK). It's nothing to do with you. Which is why... I need my band so much ...and they need me * HEE *
Nice to know you're having fun in Hollywood, Billy.
Will buy the CD if it comes out here.
Bye...

Had another ex named David. His family was Dutch.
He was Paul's best friend. They're not friends anymore. My bad...

Congrats on the wrap. Looking forward to seeing it hit the theaters, especially to scream "WOOOOOOT BILLY!', whenever you hit the screen! LOL!

Sue, Robin and I already have some creative ways to promote, promote, promote! Sue made the kick ass flyers, and has this great idea up her sleeve about a video.... can't wait!
Spreading the love,
