MORE DIABLO DATES FOR SUMMER

Things are moving very quickly around here, and as you will see below, we are adding dates to the summer touring schedule. I am pleased to announce a very special show in Los Angeles on July 20th (Twas The Night Before Ozzfest!!) at The Roxy Theater on Sunset Blvd, presented by Indie 103.1FM and Spread Entertainment. We have invited The Bangkok 5 to appear with us that night, and Dave Navarro will be picking the third band on the bill. I am very excited that Dave has agreed to get on board with this show, as I believe his vision for Spread Entertainment is a vision of the future. Multi media companies that host TV shows, promote gigs, hold art exhibitions ...... and ALL directly produced by the artist. I will be asking Dave more about Spread on Saturdays Camp Freddy Radio show, and I am sure we will be talking about this show too. Which reminds me - we have Rose Apodaca (Fashion Editor of the LA Times) as an in-studio guest this coming weekend. So put on your best jeans before tuning in!!! Here are a list of the added shows so far - they are all with Nick Oliveri and Mondo Generator, except for The Roxy show. More shows are being added as we speak so keep your mouse pointed right here.

07/13/07: TACOMA, WA. South Sound Garage.
07/15/07: PORTLAND, OR. Outlaws.
07/18/07: SAN FRANCISCO, CA. Cafe Du Nord.
07/20/07: LOS ANGELES, CA. The Roxy Theater.
07/27/07: DENVER, CO. The Larimer Lounge.
07/29/07: SALINA, KS. The Blue Goat.
08/01/07: HOUSTON, TX. The Meridian.
08/25/07: WARREN, MI. The Ritz.

Apart from extending the touring, we are also excited that LOADED will be going to radio very soon. The album release date of July 3rd will be upon us before we know it! But before all that happens, I will be shooting a movie for three weeks, starting very soon. The movie is a horror film called "Evilution", and I will have plenty of time to bring you some v-blogs from the set. That will be an interesting period for me, as regular readers will know that I love doing film. Three weeks of shooting is a long time, and I am really looking forward to getting into character and ......er.......killing lots of people!

STILL trying to find time to edit the V-Blog together from the Diablo mastering session, and I have tons of your questions to answer. Oh well - there are only so many hours in the day, and mine are all full up right now. I'll get around to all of it at some point. For now, I figured you would all wanna know the extra dates. I'll be back very soon.

Peace

Billy

I want to run
I want to hide
I want to remember things
When this brain is fried
I want to reach out
Be in Camp Freddy's game
Where the freaks have no name

Dave has a beard, and Billy's so weird
They'll still be around here after the smell has cleared
So turn up the volume, let's crash Camp Freddy's game
Where the freaks have no name

Where the freaks have no name
Where the freaks have no name
We're still listening
Then turning them up, turning them up
And when I go there
I go there with you
It's all I can do

The city's a dud
But we still like it here
We're beaten and blown by taxes
We live on Foster's beer
I'll show you a place
It always looks the same
Where the freaks have no name

Where the freaks have no name
Where the freaks have no name
Still listening
Then turning them up
Turning them up
And when I go there
I go there with you
(It's all I can do)

You 2 sounded incredible tonight! C.F.R. is the best radio around.

For some silly reason, I still like music, even though I could never find a band to play in. The music industry around here is like a joke. It's mostly C&W and it makes my skin crawl. But you can't change where you're from or where your family lives. The only good thing to come out of Alberta IMO is Nickelback... and Joni Mitchell, I guess (if you were alive when she was popular, which I wasn't).

Rose Apodaca sucked ass. Boo! She is a kiss ass.

If the new CD comes out here, then I'd buy it. I have no kids, so I spend a lot of money on music. The gay guys I know don't have kids either, and some of them make an OBSCENE amount of money. It's an IMPORTANT market, but it's often ignored by a lot of artists. That's one of the reasons why Brokeback Mountain did so well. That film was actually made here in my hick province.
As for Rose, I won't go there. Mum used to be in fashion design before she quit working. She apprenticed in Germany. She was a model too. My sister and nephew also did some modelling. I only screw around with my instruments when I'm not hiding in my cubicle.

One of you was quite the as***** yesterday! Hey hey its fat albert! I love toonage.

Posted by: Samster at May 6, 2007 01:15 PM

Another great show! The last 3 have been really good. I think having a guest in helps the show a lot as it's not just you and Dave forcing convo for 2 hours, even though I love that!

Also on LOST hasn't Jack got a new tattoo on his inner left arm on his elbow?!

peace

Billy- I'm Collin (Jen's cousin from SC). Just wanted to congratulate you on the fantastic news. I know you guys are thrilled. I have enjoyed keeping up with your progress through this site. Will Circus Diablo be performing at all of the Ozzfest tour stops? Hopefully so. If not, any idea if you'll be in Charlotte (8/28)?

Best wishes for a great summer 2007!!

Whomever the person was, over @ Daves myspace, that said the anny. posts @ 6767 were fun, gotta agree. -Ratings Rosies? Haha, lol.

Yeah Billy...coming to see us in Portland! Stellar!

Posted by: Dawna at May 7, 2007 03:48 PM

no ozzfest or CD in mpls....wwwwwaaaaaaaaaahhhh. that sucks. i can't travel much so getting close doesn't help.
question: great discussion of music with gilby & fashion with rosa. do you find that musicians are carving out more areas other than music more and more now with the apparent implosion of the industry? sorem/clothes, you/endorsements, dave/spread entertainment, etc etc lots of examples. beginning to market their name/brand like korn did?

thanks billy for all your comments & music & positive attitue. you're awesome!
