BACK FOR THE WEEKEND

Just wanted to open the site back up here for the weekend. Thanks to those who observed some kind of thought or prayer for Virginia. Now then - I just got time to tell you that I will be in Vegas this weekend for the opening of an envelope, NO, sorry, I mean the opening of The Palms Casino's new concert venue, PEARL - and Gwen Stefani is performing. So that means an on-the-spot phoner from me to CFR, where Dave will be holding down the fort with author Neil Strauss (The Game, Dont Try This At Home). Tune in for fun and frolics on Indie 103.1FM.

Still holding our tongues regarding the whole Diablo deal thing, but shouldnt be too much longer - added a ton more club dates to the summer, and we will give you those when we get all the details. We now have 40 shows coming up in total, and I am exhausted just thinking about it!! And I am now into all the fun stuff that I love - album artwork, getting press stuff rolling, mastering the record next week (and recording a couple of extra tracks as well) - I am really enjoying this process.

Gonna get outta here, but I'll post after the Vegas weekend. Have a good one.

Billy

So your doing the "opening of a envelope" this weekend and Dave's staying back at the ranch? It's usually the other way around.
I was hoping you were gonna bust his hump about being back on myspam...I mean myspace. Dave's "I'm so over it" lasts about 2 weeks. ;-)

Have a good time! Can't wait for the Circus Diablo news!

Yes, can't wait for Diablo news. And you know your NY street team is ready to go.

Have fun. Wishing all a great weekend!

Sue

Hoping one of those club dates is Little Rock or Memphis. That would just rock a bit!! Have a great weekend.

Have fun in Vegas.
It was nice of you to designate some quiet time for VT.

Bring on the club dates!

I love it! I betta get my ass to a CD gig this summer!!!

Posted by: Spencer at April 20, 2007 11:09 PM

Billy, I just love the scoll tattoo on your back!!! As with everyone else, I cant wait to hear the club dates. I am not a big "fest" person so, would much rather see Circus Diablo in a club! My heart goes out to all of the families that were involved in the VT incident!! Question, when you do start touring, will Jen go with or just come an visit when she can? Take care all!! Niki

I hope you are having a blast in Vegas.

Is there any way of regular Joe's like myself getting a hold of a "Camp Freddy" edition Gibson guitar or is that stictly custom shop for you guys? I know that there is an un-written rule about some companies not reproducng certain things. I'm guessing that the CF Les Paul is one of them.

As for the summer tour, if by any chance Circus Diablo can sneak over the Canadian border, I would be a happy guy!

Have an awesome week!

I missed your last post, but I have definitely thought about and prayed for the families. I know how devastating it is to get a phone call that your child is deceased. I'm glad you acknowledged their suffering. We should not forget about Cho's family. They lost their son too, but unfortunately I'm sure they haven't received much support, only hate.

I wanted to ask Billy something, but if he's busy then I heard that Corey Haim and Corey Feldman are answering questions at msn.
Check this out Circus Freaks:

MY QUESTION IS: If you were scarred for life after having a body part waxed,
how long would you wait before you decided to sue the beauty salon?
Merle Norman sucks big time. I don't know if they have them in California.
Don't go there, girlfriend.

P.S. GO FLAMES GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Billy,

With Diablo dates drawing near, have you given any thought to what your tour rider will consist of? If not, some insight on any of your prior
riders would be great.

Thank you,
Jay

Are you still not smoking cigs? And did you do anything like hypnosis to get started ?
I am so weak about quitting cigs.
Thanx.

So... how was Lost Wages? Hope you enjoyed the show and festivities. Vegas is fantastic and the Palms makes it even better.... great venue!

When I was bored, I read in an entry a few months ago that he'd quit. Cigarettes are like death for any lead vocalist.

OT: I was living in my uncle's basement the first time I heard Jane's Addiction on the hard rock station. I suppose that's nothing shocking since Jane's Addiction has always symbolized adolescent rebellion. I'd run away from home a few months before that because I'd had an argument with my father. I wasn't able to make amends with him because he had a heart attack. I was still living there when I went to the Cult concert with a friend from high school. I'd won tickets from that same radio station. Ironically, it was better than most of the concerts I've actually PAID to see.

The subway drivers are going on strike...again. And I'm having a nervous breakdown. Don't laugh. It could happen to YOU. And the Flames are out of the playoffs now. Sucks. The goth is back...
