Well this is unfair! You can't just keep putting up 1min clips, it's torture we need more! It's like watching the 'next week on LOST' and never getting to see the actual ep! It's great though, very interesting stuff. Loved the use of 'maggot brain' in the background, one of my fav's.
I never knew things were so bad for you, cos it sounds like they REALLY were.
Question: Where did you find the strength to get back on you're feet again, what kept you going? Most would have given up and just faded away.
You are proof that anything is possible and your story puts some of life's other problems into perspective. Gutter to rock star, and still humble enough to talk to us mongs, top stuff!! :)
Cheers.

You should go on Jonesy's Jukebox some afternoon when you've got nothing going on.

Billy,
Keep 'em coming bud! Even though it does have the "Lost" feel to it, I am hooked! As I am with Lost! Couple of questions-1.Did your parents take the whole tough love approach during your addiction or did they know how bad it was? Also, when and if you become a parent, how do you think you would handle it? Niki

So far, what has struck me about LLO is that you're telling your story. Usually, with a "Behind the Scenes" or "True Hollywood Story" format, there is that one narrator with a lot of other people chiming in. The first person perspective of LLO is a nice change of pace.
For the Q&A:
The name Circus Diablo, was it partly inspired by the character Adam Ant plays in the movie "Spellcaster"?

Very cool stuff Billy.
So, I have to ask- did you have an epiphany or moment that propelled you from the streets into rehab for the final time? And you knew that this was it, it had to end!? Intervention, out of body experience, etc.? Please share!

At what point in this whole process did Jen come into your life?

Question:
Do you play with alternate/open tunings much? I just discovered a few and it's been real fun to play around. If so- are there any that you prefer &/or suggest?
Thanks!

You are a tease....these 1 minute segments are teasing me!
fyi...saw your boy Dave last Wed play at Radio City (btw...best TPC show I have seen so far! They sounded AMAZING and were loving the HUGE theater) and then at his after party at Marquee. He looks like he misses you something awful....NOT ;-) It was a awesome time! Dave was having a blast, we were having fun. We know how to throw down in NYC!!

Do any of your tattoos represent your rise from the ashes? You know, like a reminder to never go there again? If not, come visit and we'll fix you up with one. :)

Billy, do you ever go to jails or recovery homes and share your story?
Posted by: Linda from San Diego at February 6, 2007 08:54 PM
I'm loving these clips Billy. Thanks man. My bottom was extremely high, all mental and very little physical. I'm always inspired by those that came in from street. God bless ya man!

really diggin the ALLO clips. i think the "teaser" format is a badass way of presenting it.
a couple things for the Q & A
1)saw TPC and Supernova when they were in Philly, with regards to your comments on bands not having any say on who goes on tour with who, without getting into too much detail, (dont wanna take up too much of your time) just how much of a role do the label execs have in all the tour format?
2) how did Mark end up as a member of Camp Freddy? i suppose the casual fan wouldnt figure him to fit the bill considering his sound in Sugar Ray was much softer.
Best of luck in Miami!

Loving the new installment! Though like everyone above, the one minute duration just makes me want more!
You make the comment in the video that you were fortunate enough to get out...how did you do it? (Or is that the substance of a future installment?)
Keep 'em coming and keep on rockin' Billy! Thanks for all that you do!

Hi Billy!
Question: How do you feel, what do you think when you see people living on the street now?

Billy,
Where is Billy Duffy in the latest LLO clip? Just wondering.
Posted by: Merc957 at February 7, 2007 11:22 AM
Hi billy,
The clips are really cool, but as everyone says they do need to be longer........much longer, if you keep them at that length we will still be watching them in 5 yrs time(or is that the plan to keep us hanging on?)!!!
I have a question, or more of an opinion really........me and the other half have been talking recently and i have always wanted to play bass guitar, now he says i should start on a normal 6 string guitar and then move onto bass as that is the way most people learn to play bass guitar, well according to him anyways, but i tried to tell him that i tried to learn classical guitar as a child and didn't get on with it at all, so quit, but i did do my music exam playing a cello so i tried to tell him you play a bass instrument differently to a treble instrument.(still with me?) this has lead to a difference in opinion in my house, so who is right? is it best to start on a rhythm guitar then change? or is starting on the bass from the outset the best way? didn't know anyone else who might have an answer but as you know soooo many people perhaps you could ask for me????
Cheers, and hope all is well,
Lara

Hey Billy, its been ages since I've posted a comment. I'm still lurking though and really enjoy the blog man!
Here's a question from out of the blue. Being a child of the '70's and 80's myself, do you have an opinion on the recent Van Halen tour news with DLR back in the band and Ed's son Wolfgang replacing Mike on bass?

Hey Billy, just wondering if you could answer this for the people in the countries that don't yet have the chance to experience it yet, Xbox 360 or PS3? Which one is better?

Hey Billy! Thank you so much for the cool interview last Saturday night! I have something big brewing right now, so please get in touch with me as soon as possible. I was looking for an email on this site but I couldn't find one, so shoot me one at ultrawirt@yahoo.com...........talk to you soon!

Billy, the guitar looks great! And thanks so much for the v-blogs, they, and your short film clips are awesome.
I was wondering about something you said about Camp Freddy cover art. How would somebody go about submitting some very unique art to look at to see if you might potentially be interested in their cover designs?
Thanks so much,
~Ali

Hey Billy, How are you doing?
Watched the new clip earlier this week when you put it up but didn't comment - it's really raw, quite an emotional thing to see (I thought) and couldn't put that across without sounding trite. Reading about reality is one thing, Dave's Don't Try This At Home totally screwed me up in places and I've read a lot of bio's but seeing it in film version is different - visual impact. Also the docu style. Hope to see all the episodes run together one day.
Question: What made you turn your life around? What changed? Was it an intervention or did you just wake up one day and WANT to live? HOW did you get from where you were back on your feet.
Have a warm weekend,
Love
V.

Hey Billy!
I just watched the Stimulater-video on MorrisonTv, and that is a great track!
Did you include that (or any other track from that record) on the Diablo-record, or did you decide to leave it in the past?
Did you bring any unreleased songs from your past or did you co-write the whole thing with your new band-mates?
It would be a shame if songs like that one got lost in your archives! I guess thats why you put this one on Youtube, though...;)
