THE AVALON THEATER TONIGHT
Its the Indie 103.1FM Xmas Party tonight at The Avalon Theater over on Hollywood and Vine. Dubbed 'Wreck The Halls' ..... (oh how witty someone must have felt when they came up with THAT one!), it features Drive A, Lily Allen, The Ringers and Camp Freddy. We will be playing around 10pm, and for those of you who REALLY know and appreciate their Punk and Rock music, there will be a surprise performance towards the end of our set. I am afraid if you dont have tickets now, then its game over, because the show is Sold Out. However, the venue normally holds a few tickets back for when the doors open, so go down there and try ...... nothing to lose, people!!
All questions will be answered in the V-Blog that I will get up online by the weekend. Today is a busy one, but I wanted to get in there and say hi to you all before the madness starts!! Have a great day, and see some of you at the show tonight.
Peace
Billy

Why O Why can't I live in LA! :(
enjoy tonight Billy!
Question : Do you still practice guitar everyday and if so are you still improving as a musician?

Questions:
1. Did you have a back up plan in case you didn't make it as a musician?

Billy,
This is a reposting from Fully Featured:
I have been checking out your stuff on youtube & for the life of me, I cannot figure out what you do with your cigarette in the beginning of the Ziggy Stardust clip. How is the not smoking thing going by the way? Also do you still like or ride motorcycles? Caught that from the Breathe clip. I hope you are enjoying your California weather, Kansas City went from 71 degrees on Tuesday to an ice storm on Wednesday to 4-24" of snow today/tonight!!! I am definitely a summer person myself. I am really looking forward to CFR w/Drive A this weekend. Take care & enjoy all!! Niki

Billy,
Todays picture prompts a question:
Knowing the impact the Sex Pistols have had on you, can you describe the feeling you get being onstage with Jonesy playing a Pistols tune?
I mean for God's sake, that's about as cool as is gets.
Any thoughts?
Thank you,
Jay

heres a question billy?
with the situation on how bad the music buisness is these days and how labels arnt interested in guitar bands whats your opinion on this??
"the new guns n roses record could just be in the stores anyday, you might just walk in and see it on the shelf one day"
as quoted by guns manager.....how can a band expect to make money when zero promotion is being done-after all the money axl ploughed into the album and time away gn'r have spent from the spotlight do you think its maybe just a bit big headed to think the album is gonna be big?

Camp Freddy was great. Getting to see Neurotic Outsiders in a little mini-reunion was a real treat :) I was never able to see them at the Viper Room because back then I wasn't old enough to be let in! Anyway, its always good to see you guys!!!!

Hey Billy!
Good luck tonight.
Question:
When your on stage playing what do you think about and do you look at people in the crowd?
Thanks
Kelly.

Jonesy and John Taylor were at the show???? God dammit, I swear us New Yorkers miss EVERYTHING! Billy, are you trying to get a mass infusion of east coasters to the West Coast? Because if you keep doing all this cool shit out there I am going to have no choice but to move out there to get my music fix!
Ok....question for Billy....what's the WORST gift you ever got for xmas? the BEST? the most thoughful?

Not me. I heart NY. Not today because it's FREEEEEEZING! But 85% of the time I love living here!
They just have to come EAST more often! ;-)

Paul, don't you think it's only guitar bands around getting the success in the UK now, and crappy ones at that! It seems so strange that things are so different in the US.
Posted by: Max Danieli at December 8, 2006 07:01 AM
ha yeah spot on max-guitar bands are all the rage here but its a shame they cant play them properly!
when i went to l.a i was really surprised at the music being promoted in the shops....its still the place to be tho for rock and roll -look at all those clubs!
i guess everything comes back but packaged in a different way-its up to us to find it.
billy what was the last cd you bought???
top band of 2006?
best live act of 2006?
most over-rated band of 2006?

Fun show last night. Good to see you Kate and Oz, sorry we arrived so late!

Last night was, damn! so good~ I got to see Cantrell finally! Samantha had a blast at her 1st Camp Freddy gig, she was in shock, I believe. Love that. Got to say Hi to WendyBird last night and Lukas stood next to me for a minute with a chick friend of his, and yeah, we spoke briefly. He was nice. Damn, I feel bad for him cuz he was fu**ing really cool and I just remember all those nasty postings on 67 during the show.....anyways...thanks Billy for rocking a great cause last night. peace.

Very fun show! Good to see you too Beth. Loved the Neurotic Outsiders! I'm always in awe watching Jonesy play. Loved Paranoid as always! Go Johnny go!
I've got some under 21s that would kill or die to see a show, so maybe the next time, can the venue be at a all access locale? Gracias senor!
Posted by: Kate at December 8, 2006 11:53 AM
hey max-i think we're just gonna have to see if we can get some dvds of these shows....we are NEVER gonna get anything like this our way and if we did it would probably be for some rich fuckers birthday.
sounded like an awesome show and am i right that the outsiders reformed -what songs did they play?

Paul, it sucks big time doesn't it! What I'd do be in California. Oh well at least we have CFR :)

@redpill,
Thanks for the link. Those kids rockin out Iron Maiden are f*ckin wicked. Child prodigies maybe? Wonder if they've ever had music lessons.
The future looks bright for rock music !
Hopefully they get noticed soon by someone in the biz.
