NOT A LOT GOING ON
Good morning everyone. Dont have a lot to say today, seeing as I did the EnormoPost at the weekend!! But always happy to answer more questions, so feel free to ask. The Podcast from the weekend is up - thanks to Paul and Larry who single handedly battled the Internet Streaming Gods and somehow managed to put it together, even though there was a lousy stream on Saturday. Thanks guys. And we move forward into another week. I'll be heading out for a little R+R at the end of the week, and intend to spend the earlier part getting my shit in order and finishing some stuff off for the year. Got a few decent Netflix titles to work through - Season Two of MI5 (or Spooks), Slither, See No Evil ...... I'll let you know. And thats really it. Roll on the Holdidays, the sitting around doing nothing, the opening of bizarre presents, and the onset of a New Year, with new convictions, new surprises and new challenges. Back before the end of the week.
Peace
Billy

Billy,
Just got turned onto CFR podcsat. You guys are awesome: The greatest podcast EVER!
If you get a chance, I recommend The Boondock Saints for one of your next Netflix rentals.
Also, Keen Eddie (the complete series)is great. It was a Fox TV series that was pulled way too quickly.
Cheers!

Billy have you noticed lately that when Dave is gone....the live stream is down....coincidence....hmmmm....
Anyhoo...I asked in the other blog but I'll ask again-how or why did the CF Christmas song come about? Did someone ask you guys to do it?
Have a great week doing as little as possible and tying up end of the year loose ends!

I really enjoyed CFR last week, I love your radio show. You guys can manage to make me laugh even when I deem it impossible. You know, bad days like waking up to a flat tire after grabbing the 'no parking from 8am-12pm' ticket off my windshield and then stumbling into the hot single neighbor with major bed head and sweat pants on.....oh, I digress.......Thank for such a postitive and beautiful affect on the world~ You guys don't realize how much we need CFR. Peace.

OK, I didn't have a question until I read the end of your post, Billy...
"the opening of bizarre presents"--so, spill it! What's the most bizarre present you've received?
You shouldn't tempt your NY contingent, we are pretty creative when we start brainstorming, right, Peebs? (Avalon, anyone?) ha ha. :)
Love,
Sue

What am I Sue, chopped liva???? Have I been booted out of the NY contingent b/c I have only been lurking b/c I have been so damn busy with real life??
Billy....the only present that we would ask of you is to COME TO NYC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know, I know, nothing in the works but soon, soon, right? I am an impatient little girl and I need a shot in the arm of some good rock! Remember....we lost KROCK and CBGB's and the Continental! We need a bone man, throw us one!
Do you open your presents on Xmas or Xmas eve?
Have a great one all...back to the grind!
Posted by: MB at December 11, 2006 04:35 PM
No, Sue wasn't leaving you out at all but you have to admit she and I have been coming up with some hair brained ideas lately. And I tell you them and you go "oh my god, your insane" :-D
And Billy about the bizarre presents your opening....remember it's the thought that counts. ;-)

All good Billy. Missed the CF show at Avalon. Couldn't fly in due "business" as originally hoped. But appreciate the vblog! Keep it up bro!

My chemical Romance, Def Leppard and now Towers of London...what's going on?!!
Towers of London are just a bunch cliche wannnabe 'rockstars'. I think they read the Motley's 'The Dirt' too many times.

Classic Rock radio Station KLOS here in Los Angeles is promoting the itunes Camp Freddy Christmas single. Played a clip of it, kinda cool to hear on such a big station!
Posted by: Beth at December 12, 2006 08:44 AM
max do you watch the towers of london program on bravo???
not sure if billy gets that but yeah i agree with you on the other hand tho its good to have something with a bit of BALLS BACK.

Hi Billy, i'm looking forward to the Circus Diablo cd! Still thinking sometime in February? My cd will be out in early January. Hopefully this is a good time of year to put music out!
If you have time, check out my band and see if you like us. We're called, Distant Daze. As with everyone, we have a myspace page:
www.myspace.com/distantdaze
Hope you like it. Let me know what you think. If you want a free copy of the album, I can send you one.
Have a great week,
Curt

Beth, KLOS did that? Was it Uncle Joe promoting it? Damn...wished I heard that.
Posted by: Kate at December 12, 2006 09:39 AM
MB, now you're making me feel bad! You can't be booted out, not with your NY accent ("liva"?!). Ya try to get out, and dey keep pullin ya back in...
Billy, you need to come to NYC and make MB feel better.

Paul- No I refuse to watch it :) I really detest them, I saw an interview with them when they first came out and they were so arrogant and obnoxious. The best part, they're not even from London!!!
Posted by: Max Danieli at December 12, 2006 10:19 AM
Kate..I think it was Uncle Joe..promoting a bit for new releases on Itunes I believe. They have run it a few times this morning.
Posted by: Beth at December 12, 2006 10:22 AM
Sweeeeet. Thanks Beth. I know UJ is a fan of the guys, he's the one that told me about them in the first place. BTW.. did you hear his last OTR and the song by Guff? Kick ass punky song w/ Perry on background vocals.
Posted by: Kate at December 12, 2006 10:38 AM
Kate!! 11:55 am, It was Uncle Joe, just played it again! Promoting new releases out on I-tunes today. Will have to email KLOS and request em to play it!
Posted by: Beth at December 12, 2006 11:58 AM
Yes!!! gotta love that guy!

Hi Billy,
I was wondering about copyright and how you felt about all that stuff? The law keeps material copyrighted for 50 years do you reckon that's fair enough? It's really ace to be able to ask someone who it might actually affect! :)
Have a great week one and all.

So, Billy - Should I feel insulted?
I'm pretty sure I'm THAT GUY from Copenhagen, haha ;)
Let's see:
From Copenhagen - yep.
Sitting in a one-bedroom apartment - yep.
Chainssmoking - yep.
Fantasinsing about Hollywood - I'd like to think that i have better things to do with my time..
Listening to CFR at 4 a.m. - fortunatly only when I've been out drinking and it's late enough that the show is on when I get home, but early enough that I don't wanna go to bed :) I usually download the podcast the next morning.
Freaky kid with no friends - well...this is the point where i skould feel insulted, isn't it..
But you can tell Donovan that there are peolpe from Copenhagen who are listening to you guys:)
Oh yeah, and about TPC - I agree; that is the best rock-record of 2006!

Hey Billy...hey family!! Hey ylais!!!
How is everybody?
Billy, here's a quick question. How come the studio at CFR is always so dark, I don't remember it being that way last year, and it's hardly worth it anymore when Dave brings his webcam cuz you can't see anything but shadows...I was hoping for a replay of THIS picture

Love to all,

Billy,
A couple of questions: Van Halen or Hagar? and what is your take on Eddie replacing Michael Anthony w/his son Wolfgang? Have you ever played with Sammy at his bar in Cabo? I have heard he has a Camp Freddy thing going on, where whoever shows up, they all play together. Have a wonderful trip & have fun diving!!
