LOSING MY MIND

I think I'm losing my mind. Something happens to me when I start diving again. I begin to push the envelope. The usual "oh look, its a fish", transforms into, "oh look, its a big fish and its brightly colored" and has now morphed into a potential "oh look, its nine white tip reef sharks, four hammereads, a couple of black tips ..... and a fully grown Tiger Shark!!! ..... and I am gonna dive with them and feed them." Yep - seriously, I signed up yesterday to get into a tank FULL of sharks and manta rays and feed them. I saw the Tiger as it swam past .... its about nine or ten feet long. Thats not to mention the other 15 sharks that are swimming about in this tank! So if Jen manages to look (she's not doing it, but she will be manning the cameras!) I'll post some pics and a vid on Thursday or Friday. That is, of course, if the Tiger isn't too hungry!!!!

Todays diving doesn't begin until 4pm this afternoon. First dive is a twighlight wreck dive at 100ft, and the second dive is a night dive - lots of different stuff comes out at night. And if you ever wanted to know what darkness REALLY is, get into the middle of the ocean at night and turn your lights off. Scary stuff.

Hope you are all gearing up for some nice time off over the holidays. Maybe you do the full on family thing. Maybe you have a quiet few days with a few friends. Maybe you do what we did, and get the hell outta Dodge!! However you choose to spend your holiday time, I hope you have a great time, get relaxed, and head into 2007 with hope and prosperity. Thats it from me for now. I will try and update after the shark feeding thing, but I am gonna stay clear of V-blogs and questions until I get back. That all takes up too much time - and I am on vacation after all!! See y'all soon.

Peace

Billy

Billy from the little bits of your "past" you've talked about....swimming with the sharks should be a cake walk! ;-) Be careful!! And I thought you were leaving the laptop HOME!?!?!

I hope you and Jenn have a fabulous trip and a wonderful holiday!

(ps if I were you I would download this past Saturday's CFR. I'm not sure how many shots of espresso Dave got in his coffe but he was OFF THE HOOK! It was hysterical)

I have a question - as a huge Twilight Singers fan this has tickled my curiosity for a year now - why isn't Scott Ford listed amongst past band members? Just an oversight or is there a tale to be told there.

You're f'n nuts!! I told you to stay AWAY from the sharks!! I couldnt watch you swim with them, let alone film it. Gotta be a damn daredevil dontcha. Have fun and be careful. Sounds like you are having a good time. Enjoy.

All I can think of is the jaws theme song. Dude you couldn’t get me to swim with sharks even if you told me that after I got out I would be Brad Pitt’s or Johnny Depp’s baby’s mama. Seriously that’s totally crazy. Hope you and the Mrs. have a great time.

Holy Christ, Billy! You are doing the one thing you could not PAY me to do, swim with the frickin' sharks. I saw a hammerhead off of Maui years ago, huge ass sucker, I tore outta the water so fast...damn. FINGERS need to be intact, m'k? Guitarist dude... lol.

Have a fantastic holiday, God bless you and Jen. See ya in 2007. No Vegas for me. Sucks to be poor.

Billy,

You're a braver man than I! I don't have many fears, but being something's lunch is right at the top!

Be safe and enjoy the rest of your Holiday.

Hey Billy did you see The Descsent? Stephen King said in his column it was the best horror movie of the year. I was thinking of adding it to my netflix list.

Oh Thanks for the intro to Towers of London. I like!

As a famous man once said,

"To lose one's mind is a terrible thing..."

Or something like that.

Ok, the last we heard from you, you were going to go swimming with several sharks and such. Nothing since. Should we be concerned???? :) Hope you and Jen had a great holiday & safe trip back. Looking forward to CFR. NIKI

Have a great holiday. Water and the big deep is the most amazing way to unplug and lose time, relax, enjoy and please take it easy with the large toothed varieties. I think I'm gonna speak for everyone world-over when I say we love you intact!
