HOLIDAY FREDDY IN FULL EFFECT

CAMP FREDDY: Playstation 3 Hits The Streets
Please note that this is a large file size. A high speed connection is preferred.

I am SO tired right now! Its been a few seriously busy days, and I am looking forward to spending a week out of town next week, getting some pampering at the Spa!! But its been a lot of fun at the same time. As anyone listening to last nights CFR will tell you, we actually finished another track and will be releasing it in a week or two, just in time for Xmas. We did a cover of Slade’s Merry Xmas Everybody, and Dave and I played it twice on the show last night. It was a mad dash to finish the song in time to meet a Xmas deadline, and Scott was doing vocals in one studio, while Donovan was doing his vocals in another, and we were putting it all together on the afternoon of a show! But it turned out great, and I’ll get you the release details as soon as I have them.

And then, of course, we have the Camp Freddy Best Buy/Playstation 3 show that we did out there on La Brea and Santa Monica. In the street, on an outdoor stage. What a laugh! It was a great night and we had a lot of fun. The version of Roadhouse Blues we did with Scott singing and Slash on lead guitar was fucking awesome, and I personally had a blast doing Love Removal Machine with both my bandmates, Billy Duffy and Brett Scallions, AND doing Whole Lotta Love with Brett’s beautiful missus, Abby. A great night out, and now we move onwards towards the December 7th Camp Freddy show at The Avalon theater.. For the full set list and guests, as well as details of the December show, check out the official WWW.CAMPFREDDY.NET website.

Check out the V-Blog, as promised. Yes, I KNOW it took me a few days to edit it up and get it on the site….. I’ve been busy, you know!! Please be aware that as I build up towards doing some original YouTube/MorrisonTV content, the blogs are getting a little longer in length, and therefore bigger in download size. I apologize to anyone that has a problem (especially those of you with a dial up connection – if that’s you, then SORT IT OUT!!!) but I am experimenting with this shit, cos I wanna do some cool video stuff next year on the Morrison TV site and I need to see how the download speeds are, and how many people have any problems. So bear with me – enjoy the blog, and I’ll be back next week, all chilled out and resting …. Mmm, I can smell the desert winds and feel the heat as I type this. And of course, the Podcast from last nights CFR is up on the Podcasts section, thanks to Paul. Have a great Sunday everyone, and I’ll see you soon.

Peace

Billy

hi Billy!
i was just posting a reply back to peebs, when you closed the last comments. :D
so here's that post below (and then I'm going to watch the vblog! then listen to last night's CFR)

"Hiya!
I think they should do it for fun. You know like how the RHCP did the different rock groups in their video. That would be hilarious. In a good way of course.

Funny, I missed CFR too last night. I was out at the ballet. Yes, you heard me the ballet.
(Coppelia, Russian Classical Ballet Theatre performance at the Marina Theatre in Lowestoft, Norfolk.)"

OK if they do the "hair-do's" for fun then Billy should definitely do the "bangs"! :-p What do you think Lisa??

Downloaded the v-blog. If you keeping score Billy on "download time" for Morrison TV, I have DSL so my download time on a Vblog even for a large file is about a minute or two.
But your editing of the show footage gets better and better!! Even though you played this CF show outdoors nothing can beat the CF show on top of the Hard Rock marquee in Times Square! :-D This last show looked like a blast! Nice to see Abbey up there rocking out with the boys.

So if you don't check in the rest of the week I want to wish you and the Mrs. a Happy Thanksgiving! Don't eat too much turkey, save room for the pies!

Hi Billy,

Hope I didn't scare you off with my last question...:P
Just wanted to say that even though I tend to read your site more then post, I am very appreciative that you keep all your fans informed the way you do. Not everyone in your position shares in the same way. I really enjoy coming here and watching the video clips along with your sense of humor.

I had the chance this past week to finally meet Brett and Billy at The Cult's show in NY. Beautiful people and can see why you are all friends. Poor Brett got grilled on Diablo by a few people, but he didn't seem to mind. I know on the video blog you said you were hesitant about releasing news until you have more facts. Certainly, we will all try to promote Circus in any way we can. Most of us on here seem to be a good bunch at networking, so even though it's not record co. promo, keep us in mind! Never underestimate the power of a happy fan, lol.

You may be tired from this week, but from my perspective, you still look like you're having the time of your life. It's infectious. :)
Have a great week!

Hugs,
Muse~

Hi Billy,
Have a great week away.
Did you want feedback on the V blogs?! They get er, stuck (go with the technical term) and it tends to take a while to watch sometimes. Got broadband, takes no time to download but doesn't play with ease - not any deterrent, just wish they were more fluid.
Happy Sunday.

Well well well....it looks like I can go see the "Billy Morrison" Nixon watch at the Atrium in Soho! There's one available in Japan, Amsterdam, Barcelona, New York, Beverly Hills, Washington. If I remember from last year these limited edition babies cost around $900 but there for a GREAT cause!

I really enjoyed the Christmas song and the vblog.
I used to have a lot of trouble viewing the vblogs but now they play easier than ever for me and I have not changed anything on my system. Odd.

Have fun at the SPA - try to sneak the camera in again like last time!

Hey Billy!!

Was wondering if a video of live gigs of Camp Freddy will ever be released? Especially for those of us that will never get to see a CF gig.

Enjoy your break at the SPA.

How did you like that game yesterday, Mr.Morrison? It was a nail biter. Dont worry we will be visiting the Black Hole in a few weeks. I know I would absolutely love the Vblogs but, unfortunately I am still on dial up, not by choice mind you. Prices one will pay to not live in the city. Although, I can download it & listen to it, the picture just doesnt come thru. Oh yeah & it takes literally all day to download the audio only. LOL. It is worth it. I love this blog. Well I better do something productive since I am at work, like listening to Saturdays CFR!!! Everyone enjoy. NIKI

Loved the vblog Billy! Thank you.

I enjoy seeing 'behind the scenes'

Video worked great for me on internet explorer.
originally i was on firefox, and where the vblog is, it was just blank. a void. a black hole. nothingness.
then a firefox pop up said i need to download Quicktime, but I have it already, and as a plug in. Some Firefox browser plug in problem, even though the QT plug in is fine and well on it.
