THE DAVID SPADE SHOW
Today we are off to tape the David Spade show, which will air tomorrow (Thursday) night at 10.00pm on Comedy Central. I have Todd coming down and he will have a camera or two to get some stills and also hopefully a bit of a Freddy V-Blog as well. I believe we are doing two songs, and if you have nothing to do tonight, you can get tickets to be a part of the audience by CLICKING HERE.
As you will see, I have been tweaking away again on this site and becoming obsessed with YouTube in the process. There is SO much video up there that is crazy!!! So we now have our weekly favorite on the right hand side of this page (I figured I would start off with an obvious one - The Pistols at their finest) and we also now have a YouTube.Com on BillyMorrison.net page which is over on the left of this page. Why? No reason - because I can, and because I want to ..... I like having a bunch of different media available on this blog. Mostly its to do with me, the bands I play in, and the stuff I get involved with, but occasionally I like to share in the wacky world of the Internet. So there you have it. Some random vids for you all to peruse. I am also tweaking away on the Diablo site, making some subtle, but important changes which will become apparent as we go along. Little graphic things, changing the position of certain elements, adding a Splash page .... these are the things that keep me awake at night!! And while we are at it, check out the video below. It basically should explain to you just how much impact The Pistols had on the country in general, and me as an 10 year old!!!
OK - the car will be here soon to pick me up .... so I suppose I should run through the songs and make sure I know them ...... I am the only guitarist in the band today, as our very own Mr Navarro had a previous engagement and is unable to join us. That just leaves ..... little ol' me!! Along with Chris, Matt, Donovan and Scott or course! So I will do my best to fill the sonic void left by Dave's absence .... just don't expect me to bust out an eight-fingered Van Halen style tapping solo! I'll be sticking to what I do best, which is filling the rhythm guitar hole with a beautiful wall of Marshall/Les Paul. Outta here.

I'm sure you can more than handle the "lone guitarist" position just fine!
I can't wait to watch it tomorrow night! It should be a hoot!
Oh and I am having a BALL going through some of you tubes wacky videos and emailing you the links. I swear everyone in this world with a video camera is just looking for their 15 mins of fame! And I'm glad I'm there to watch and giggle!

Looking forward to watching the David Spade show tomorrow from my air-conditioned house. I was gonna try to make it up there for the taping but I believe my tires have melted on the asphalt outide my office.

Can't wait to see the show Billy...I'm sure that it will be great, even sans Navarro....
How do these CF appearances come about? They all seem so random...not that I am complaining!

Great to see you boys tonight! You're the sweetest, Billy. Seriously.
I (by some sheer luck) got in but my Wendybird didn't :( When I was arrived a girl heard me talking to the bouncer, and her friend didn't show so she offered to let me go in with her. It was insane with V.I.P.s so they only let four people in and by chance this girl was second in line. Since it was the season finale, I think it was all interns and Comedy Central people... crazy!
The boys played Suffragette City and 20th Century Boy... and someone tape it 'cause I don't even get Comedy Central :)
I'm so fucking broke, but I have to see you boys and TPC in action in Vegas! Major props to Wendy for actually waiting for me to come out tonight. I wish she could have gotten in!

hey it wasn't so bad waiting outside. I should have left work even earlier (my fault for always running late). I got to play with my camera a little bit and get some practice with low lighting for sat's show. I can't wait for vegas. It's prob going to be my last CF/TPC show for a while since I'm trying to put some money away for lenses... I will however have to make an exception for Circus Diablo since I haven't seen them yet. Anyhow since I also don't have comedy central (or cable at all) hope someone rips it soon. I can't wait to see the footage.

yessir, i remember that and i was 10.
the grundy clip has been shown over here a few times recently, and each time i see it i laugh..well maybe more like cackle wickedly.
