A NEW WEEK BEGINS
Another week, another dollar. Or not! Went to see Mission Impossible 3 and The Da Vinci Code yesterday. Tom Cruise rules!!! Tom Hanks .... not so much! I mean, I love Hanks usually, but the Da Vinci thingy was slow, boring and long. Cruise, on the other hand, blows shit up, jumps off tall buildings, and has some crazy technology at his disposal. MUCH more my cup of 'rosy' (for those of you not living in South London ..... Rosy Lee = Tea). Have a few meetings this week that will help me figure out just what I am doing this summer. And I am making some more headway in the whole 'computer art/website design' areas. Thats why you might see random stuff appear and disappear on this site!! Its just me testing out code and seeing what works and what doesn't. Ignore me folks.
Robin - No. I don't sleep. Ever. At all. They called me Nosferatu back in 1694. These days they just call me crazy!!
MB - The plan (although we all know how plans tend to fall apart!) is to put extra tracks up on MySpace and the website. We recorded ten tracks for the album and we would like to keep those for the record. Hence the writing that's taking place now, and the ever-elusive acoustic track. We intend to continue writing and recording throughout the year.
Leroy - Ozzys studio is for him and his friends. It's not a commercial studio (although it is one of the finest I've seen!!)
Jezzi - Yes. That is me in that pic with Steve. Short, spikey blond hair!! Not sure of that look. I think I was going for a 'grown out Brad Pitt' or something!!
Mary - Great question. I do, in fact have managers. A bunch of em, to be precise!! One manages me personally, a team of them manage Camp Freddy, and one manages Circus Diablo. And yes, it can be difficult with some stuff. I have had a few instances where I believe we should be doing one thing, and the manager believes we should be doing something else. Thats when you have to trust that the manager knows what he's doing. VERY difficult for someone like me ..... but I'm working on it.
I have to visit the chiropractor now as I have spent all weekend with a crazy tweaked neck. The product of years of hanging heavy planks of wood over one shoulder and banging my head around like I'm an extra in The Excorcist!! Wish me luck, people. My guy is about 5ft tall, Japanese ..... and as strong as an Ox!! All hail Dr Kimura - the man is a genius!!! So keep it here and I'll see you all soon.
Peace

PODCAST UPDATE
I have been at it most of the day here (apart from a few hours break to go see Mission Impossible 3 - AWESOME!!!!) and I believe I have finally got the podcast up on the Podcast page, as well as a brand new-look Morrison Radio page. It includes the two songs Steve and I did yesterday. I have been wanting to make that page look better for a while now, and hopefully you'll like it too. I am so tired, my eyes feel like they are bleeding sand!! I've had two Mac computers blazing all day - one has been working on the radio page and the podcast compression, while the other has been editing some Bonaduce stuff I have been working on. I actually spend a lot of time spinning around on my studio chair from screen to screen, with my left hand operating the studio G5 and my right hand typing on the laptop!!!
I have one request for you all. The two acoustic songs we did last night seem to have a bunch of crackling all over them. Its a shame, cos I think they sound ok. I think it might have been the quality of the broadcast (cos I could hear it in the phones when I was actually trying to sing the things!!!), in which case thats the best we are gonna get. But just in case it's the quality of the recording, if anyone has these two songs sounding any better than the ones we have up here, please let me know.
So I have left the actual audio for the podcasts and the acoustic tracks uploading, and I am gonna hit the sack. If all goes according to plan, when I get up tomorrow, the audio will have uploaded and all the podcast/radio page stuff will be working correctly. I wanna thank Paul for his sterling efforts, Carol Anne for saving the day, and the New Yoik Diablettes (I LIKE that!!) for calling in last night. (Lee - thank you to you as well, but I realized we didn't actually put you on air!! Next time.) Tomorrow, I will do a solid Q+A session with anything left unanswered, and try and get around to that damn acoustic track. For now, I am shattered with all this web stuff. Goodnight.
Peace

STEVE STEVENS ON CAMP FREDDY RADIO
Tonight is an all new Camp Freddy Radio, and I will be joined this evening by my guest co-host, Mr Steve Stevens. Responsible for some of the most distinguishable guitar riffs in history (White Wedding or Rebel Yell, anyone?), Steve will be hanging out with me for two hours, between 6pm and 8pm on Indie 103.1 tonight. The temptation to spend two hours talking about the difference between maple and rosewood fretboards, the sonic quality of a Seymour Duncan pick up, and the pro's and con's of a Bradshaw rack mounted switching system will be huge!!! But I shall resist ...... I'll keep it where its usually at ..... chicks, rock n roll, more chicks, television ..... and chicks!!! Tune in tonight or check it out on the web HERE AT INDIE1031.FM.
All quiet around here right now. Camp Freddy are, as previously reported, playing at the House Of Blues on Sunset Strip in August, but its the same event that we played last year (the X-Games thingy) and it is again, a private affair. Didnt stop a few of you last year though, right? I can't say too much (cos we got in trouble last year) but you know who you are and you know what to do!! And Circus Diablo have been writing some more tunes (thanks to the brilliant technology we now have in our lives) - emailing riffs, arrangements and ideas to each other, while Brett is in NYC, Duffy is out in Canada with the Cult, and Ricky and I are in LA!! Its crazy, but we actually are writing like this, and have a week soon planned to all get together in LA and finish off these new tracks (and probably do another photoshoot as well). Behind the scenes, they are working on planning a release date for the album and some dates to match. Won't know any more until the end of next week, but you know you'll get the info here first.
There's a few cool shows coming up soon here in LA. 30 Seconds To Mars play next week, and then The Panic Channel hit the Strip the week afterwards. And my plans for this holiday weekend?..... not a lot. Hang around the house, mess about with these songs we have, maybe do some editing on all that percussion that Stephen Perkins did on our acoustic track. Watch some movies. I'm still hanging on to the 'vacation' feeling as much as I can, because it doesnt last forever! Once that goes, I start running around all day like a headless chicken!! So thats it for now - enjoy CFR (I'll get the podcast up tomorrow when I receive the file from Paul), have a great weekend, and I'll see y'all very soon.
Peace

DRIFTER CLOTHING AND PODCASTS
I was going to wait a few days before posting again, cos nothing much has changed since yesterday (other than I have caught up on all my television and got a good nights sleep!) but I got these pics and figured I would share them with you. I did an all-day shoot downtown before I went away for my friends at Drifter Clothing. They make a bunch of cool tees, long sleeves and hoodies, and they asked me if I would do the session for them. So we spent a long afternoon in a building shooting all kinds of shots, and they sent me a few proofs yesterday. Check em out. And if you look to the Media Links on the left of this page, you will see a new link. The CFR PODCASTS link will take you to a new page, where we will (hopefully) bring you an MP3 of each Camp Freddy Radio show. Thanks to Paul for helping me with this, we hope you will now be able to easily access our show, and build an archive at the same time. That is, if the server can stand it!! See ya.

READY FOR SUMMER
That was a well needed vacation. I feel rested and ready to jump back in again. Lots of diving (shark, barracuda, rays, eel, turtle, lobster and tons of tropical fish), lots of sun, sand and sea, a helicopter or two, and about 15lbs too much food!!! But its nice to be home, and over the next few days I will call everyone and see whats been going on. It will take me a little while to get back into the swing of things, but I know I have some cues to do this week for Season 2 of the Bonaduce TV show and I am sure that I will speak with the various CF and CD management peeps and see what they have cooking for the bands. I have had some emails regarding an August CF show in LA and I have heard those rumors as well - I will see what info I can get and have the CF site updated if I can. And I will get back to working on that acoustic Diablo track as well. I forgot about that one. Hopefully we will have some news on that front soon. I just took a peak at the CD Community as well - its jumpin' over there!! I love it. I'll get in there later today and answer all the questions.
Dave is now out on the road with The Panic Channel so Matt and I are going to continue the CFR love on Indie 103.1FM every Saturday. Matt covered for me the last two weeks (MANY thanks Mr Sorum!! I owe you one!!) and between Paul and I, we will be attempting to have an easy-to-use Podcast page up here soon. I know that Paul has been taping the shows, and I will be in contact with him this week and begin working on a page to hold these Podcast, so bear with me..... I'll get all that sorted out as well.
I need to discuss Television for a second here. First of all, the season finale of 24 just blew me away. The best television show ever .... bar none. I dont want to ruin it for people who are behind in the seasons, but the two hour finale last night was amazing. And it just leaves us BEGGING for January 2007 - thank God that Sutherland signed up for more. And the season finale of LOST is apparently going to answer all our questions this week. I don't believe it for a second, but I will be watching religiously, nonetheless. But what happened with Invasion? Cancelled, and with a lame 'finale' last week. Hopefully, they will land the series a new home and we can continue the regular wednesday night Alien Invasion. But what I need to know is - why doesn't anyone make new programming for the summer. I mean I know that it is traditionally re-runs all summer, with new programming in the Fall ..... but WHY? Why wouldn't some network buck the system and bring us a new series or two for the summer months? All that great television we just had .... and now we are left hanging out to dry for months, while the re-run season begins. I just need a reason!!!! Oh well - I am getting into a few Netfilx seasons (The Shield, The Wire, The West Wing) so maybe live TV takes a back seat in the Morrison household for now!
So that's all I have this morning. A quick description of todays pics (and I promise that the "Here I am on holiday" type shots will cease forthwith!!) - the top one was the view every morning from my balcony. How could you fail to be relaxed, waking up to that every day. The second one was taken on our helicopter trip around the island - those are actually the cliffs at Moloki, and looking down on these 3000ft high cliffs as you skim across the island in a six seater helicopter is a VERY cool thing. And the last one? Yet another 'Billy on a boat" picture. Maybe I shoulda been a fisherman instead of a musician!!! As the week progresses, I will ease back in to the swing of things, and will gradually update all the sites, answer any questions that are around, and feel out what the plan for the rest of the year is - but right now, its Starbucks time. Adios Amigos - back soon.
Peace

BLUE
Thats pretty much the color of the day here. Blue skies, blue ocean ..... absolutely fucking beautiful. As you can see, I am starring in my own version of LOST right now - empty white sand beaches, palm trees and ocean .... LOTS of ocean. Just waiting for a Polar Bear to wander into the upstairs bar of the hotel!! I am limiting myself to emails and web access (and loving every minute of it!) and turned my phone on once since I got here. 42 voicemails scared me silly, so I just turned it off again!! It can all wait another week. So things like the new CFR podcast page will just have to wait until vacation is over. Our own Paul has started to record the shows (beginning with the apparently brilliant Matt and Slash show last week) and has taken on the official mantle of 'CFR Recorder!! I am not yet 100% sure how we will have them uploaded (YouSendIt.com is not going to be sufficient - maybe we will have them up on our own server - let me figure it out next week) so rest assured we will start to build up a nice archive of CFR's here. I'll get to it - but just not yet.
Two dives in already - yesterday was diving the Island of Lanai, with underwater Cathedrals made out of lava, and coral chandeliers hanging from the roofs of these incredible underwater caverns. Today is the Molokini dives - nice, easy dives with tons of fish. And I am building up to Saturdays dive - known as "The Backwall", it is a drift dive (where you jump in from a boat, descend and drift with the current, and the boat leaves you and picks you up further down the wall) and part of the dive is a place called "Shark Alley" - I am not kidding you!! I am deliberately jumping into waters that are named after the amount of sharks in them!! Gotta be something wrong with me!! I will make sure I have some kind of underwater camera with me on that dive. The rest of the week is pretty much loafing around, although we have rented a helicopter for Thursday morning to fly us around the island, to go see the volcano, the rainforest etc.
I miss the regular contact with you lot, but I have to say that the break from all things Web is very welcome. Although here I am typing away and staring at my screen again!! Have a great week, and I am sure that a V-Blog will appear before too much longer. Camera is going with us on the boat this morning, so we'll see what we can get. All questions answered then. Till I return -
Peace

SLASH SPEAKS - CFR EXCLUSIVE
I wasn't going to post again until I was lying on a beach, soaking up the sun and feeling rested. But two things are important this morning. First of all - SIX FLAGS!!!! Oh my GOD!! What an amazing party. Joe Francis (owner of the Girls Gone Wild video company) decided to celebrate his birthday in style. So he rented the WHOLE of Six Flags Magic Mountain last night and threw the birthday party to end all birthday parties. Two thousand of his closest friends ran around the park like 7 year olds, with the aim of ending up feeling like they had just been 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. And I am happy to report that Yours Truly achieved that feeling with professional gusto!! As my darling wife was unable to attend, I hit the park about 8.00pm with my partner in crime, CF videographer, Todd Newman. Unbelievably, EVERY ride was open, including the new Tatsu ride, and even the concessions and side shows were running. We hooked up with Matt Sorum (another perfect partner to do an amusement park with - the man has NO FEAR!!!) and that was it. Kids in Candy Stores, we ran around jumping on any Rollercoaster that appeared in front of us, front seats, screaming like little girls!!! I left about 11.00pm feeling totally sick, and the last I saw of Matt, he was striding off into the darkness to hit his 15th ride!!!
And the other piece of news also concerns Mr Sorum. As you guys know, I will not be doing CFR this week, so Matt is going to hold down the fort - and is bringing in a rather special guest. His very own bandmate, Slash. And according to Matt, they will be tackling all the recent rumors surrounding VR, Axl, GnR etc HEAD ON!!! Expect some juicy chunks of gossip, and for once in this business, you can get your information "Straight From The Horses Mouth"!! Slash has been a guest at Camp Freddy shows many times, but has never appeared on CFR. So tune in to Indie 103.1FM this coming Saturday, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm PST or log on to www.indie1031.fm and hear Matt and Slash hosting Camp Freddy Radio. I will HAVE to call in from Hawaii now!!
Thats the update. Outta here.
Peace

OCEANIC FLIGHT 815
Just as I was completely losing interest in LOST, they have turned it around and sucked me right back in again!! Its difficult to comment, as I don't want to spoil it for the people that aren't on the same episode as us here in the US, but last nights was a winner. Answers are slowly coming (I think the writers realized that they better start making sense before they had no viewers left!) and the tension is mounting nicely again. Mr Ecko is a GENIUS character - a man of few words, but enormous pectoral muscles!! And of course, now there is a hatch full of Heroin, I expect everyone to immediately develop huge habits and start robbing each other of their Dharma Initiative regulation Corn Flakes. That, and 24, have me glued to my screen on Mondays and Wednesdays. How sad!!
I have also begun looking into this new HD DVD thing thats coming out in August. Being Technology Boy, I will, of course, have to have the latest technology as soon as its released. But I smell a VHS/BETAMAX thing developing here. Two incompatible technologies, Blu-Ray and HD DVD are being released, but only one will emerge as the winner. Whoever goes the other route will be left with a dinosaur technology and a collection of movies gathering dust, and laughed at whenever visitors come over for dinner!! My money is on Blu-Ray ..... backed by Sony (the HUGE corporate wheels of that company will refuse to lay down and die), I believe that they will be the ones to lead the march into the next gen of Home Theatre. For those of you who understand such things - imagine being able to watch movies at 1080p!!! For those of you who are scratching your head at my previous sentence .... never mind!!!
CFR this week will be hosted by Mr Matt Sorum (I have NO IDEA what he said last week on the radio to piss anyone off ... that man is the nicest musician I know!! If he said anything to upset you .... GET OVER IT!!!) and he will be dragging a friend down to fill my seat while I jet off on a well deserved vacation. Now that Dave is busy on tour and with the Panic Channel, I doubt that he will have the repeat shows being posted. So do we want to take that over here? Is anyone in a position to record the show each week and host it? If you are, drop me an email and we could design a player that re-broadcasts the shows for anyone that missed them? You will need to have some server space, and take the time to upload the show and send me a URL, and I would then link it up each week. Just a thought. And while I remember, this picture was taken years ago at the Borderline in London - It was a Stimulator show, and we are playing with Jim Davies (Pitchshifter/The Prodigy) who got up with us during the encore. He would be the man behind me with green hair - that boy can play a mean guitar!!
No Freddy or Diablo news that I can post right now. I can tell you that Freddy has a bunch of stuff happening in August and September, and that details will appear on the new site (www.campfreddy.net) as soon as we confirm them. And Circus Diablo are waiting until I get back from Hawaii to continue the drummer search, to finish the acoustic song (and also to write a few more tunes together), to prepare for an 06/06/06 announcement, and our 'people' are beavering away at making the planned European jaunt happen in November. I will be thinking about absolutely NONE of this for the next ten days, as I get my R+R in beautiful Maui. I have a bunch of dives planned, a video blog or two while I am away (to keep my connection with you lot!!) and not a whole lot else. mmmm...... I can taste the salt water as I type....!!
As usual, your captions had me in stitches. Its a wonderful thing. And I have to say that I LOVE how the CD Community is growing - Its pretty vibrant in there and I would like to extend our reach. So this is a call to everyone in The Family to reach out and touch all the other relevant forums and communities and spread the word about ours. Fuel, The Cult, Camp Freddy, The Almighty - there are a ton of fans out there that we can reach - so lets have some Circus Diablo web banners submitted - lets tell people where they can come to feel the love. Its your house, so lets build it well people!! Looking forward to the rest of this year - maybe we should have a Chat Room built into the community so that live chats can occur. I'll talk to the man who can. For now, thats it. I will be hitting ALL your questions in the first V-Blog from Hawaii - I wont have time to post before I leave as I have an all day photoshoot today, a huge birthday party tonight at Six Flags Magic Mountain, and the MAP Awards thing tomorrow. So adios amigos - I'll see you all on the beach.
Peace

SUNDAY MORNING
Finally, I have a few hours of not a lot going on, so the first thing I wanted to do was update this blog properly. I'll get to your questions in a minute, but first lets recap the week. So Brett Scallions flew in to LA from New York to solidify all the details regarding his joining Circus Diablo as Bass Guitarist. It was great to see him and hang out (we went shooting together after the auditions and caught up on all the gossip) and it was crazy to hear the songs being played in a rehearsal room. We had a few drummers come down, and all of them were really good. No decision has been reached - we will probably do another day pretty soon - but rest assured you guys will be the first to know. The new Camp Freddy site finally saw the light of day (mucho respect to my partner in crime, Mr Shenon, for helping me get it done) and apart from the odd community weirdness, and the emails I have had complaining about incorrect photo credits (have you ANY idea how hard it is to sort through 3000 pictures spanning four years and remember who took them?) it seems to be rockin'. We still have a few things we want to do with the site, so we'll work on them and add them as we go along.
CFR was a lot of fun last night. Dave's brand of irreverent humor was missed, but Matt and I forged through and had a lot of laughs along the way. While Dave is is out, due to Panic Channel and Rock Star commitments, expect some surprise co-hosts, the return of Donovan Leitch (eventually!!) and a LOT of Rock N Roll war stories, courtesy of our very own Mr Sorum. CFR marches onwards. I will be out next week (vacation, people - everyone needs em) but Matt will be at the helm.
I've also spent a lot of time in a program called Final Cut Pro this week. Its a film editing software that I am into, and I have been working on a short film for some friends of mine. Its a private deal, so I wont be able to put it up here (at least, not yet - maybe later in the year once they have used it for their purposes) but it has renewed my interest in film and editing. As you will see, I have re-posted the Spike TV thing, as a number of you couldnt view the last version. I was trying to present it in a higher resolution, but it didnt work for everyone. So hopefully this version is back to our previous format (which every one seems to be ok with.) But I feel other film projects coming on - I love the process. We will film a lot of the Circus Diablo goings on, so maybe a video of a track once the album comes out might be a good, fun experiment.
Lisa - Yes, the Betty Boop guitar is Ricky's. It is a Gibson Melody Maker - we both own one, but his is WAY cooler!! And the yellow Lab was actually the engineers dog - called Zee - the CUTEST dog!!
MB - Yes - we will get to the East Coast. I just dont know when. You have to understand that while The Cult are on the road, the windows of opportunity are limited. Just be sure that they are being filled as best we can, bearing in mind we have a LOT of places we need to go!! And the AVN thing is a CFR show, not a performance.
RedPill - I like the music, dude. The song Drown makes me wanna get loaded again!! And I like the track called Anything as well. No vocals?
Terri - LOST dragged me RIGHT back in. I have been gradually losing interest lately, but without ruining it for all our UK peeps - OH....MY....GOD!!! Now what's gonna go down??!!!
Today is gonna be a fairly easy one for me. Pilates this morning, and then nothing very much. I'll try and finish the DVD I've been working on, but other than that I'll be hanging out with a few friends, and playing a bit of PS2. By the way - PS3 gets its launch later this year. Oh shit - now I'll be in trouble!! Lets do another caption photo - havent done that in a while. Check out the pic above, and see what rubbish you guys can conjure up!! What is being said? Let me have it!! Thats all we have time for today, ladies and gentlemen. I feel good that I have updated properly - although I'm feeling a slightly more thoughtful, deep, introspective blog coming on soon. My thoughts on the meaning of life, why are we here, do colors really exist ........ NOT!!!! Have a great Sunday everyone, and I'll be back soon.
Peace

UPDATE FROM THE CHURCH OF DIABLO
Its a quick one, but an important one! As you lot like to be the first to know anything, I figured I should tell you that Mr Brett Scallions, former FUEL frontman, will be playing bass guitar in Circus Diablo. There is a news item up on the Circus Diablo website. Brett flew in to LA for a few days this week, and we are delighted that he is feeling this music as much as we are. He is a dear personal friend, and I am very happy that he is committed to this band. I have seen him sing in Fuel, and as a guest with Camp Freddy, and his voice will be an amazing asset in this band. I have also seen him play bass in his NY band, The X's, and let me tell you something ...... good looking, got a great voice, AND he can lay that shit down on the bass guitar!! This man has it all!!
So thats the news for now - more details as they arise. Dont ever say I dont let you guys know whats going on!!
Back soon

HORSE WHISPERER
I remember Jon (Clayden) complaining about not wanting to sing every song in rehearsals when we were working on Dohney. And I can remember wondering what the big deal was .... why he would limit himself to one run through of the set in any one rehearsal. I can tell you that I now have a newfound respect for Jon, and singers in general!! I don't have a bad voice - in fact its pretty good for certain things (including what Circus Diablo do) - but I sit here this morning, throat sore, voice shot, and realize that I have learnt something. I learnt that I will only do one run through of the set in any one rehearsal!! Yesterday we played the same four songs about forty times, over the course of 8 hours, with a bunch of different drummers and I TOTALLY get it now Jon!! Its a tough thing to do - I started the day singing great, and eight hours later, I was croaking my way through the last one thinking .... I have GOT to stop smoking!! Maybe this will be the catalyst for me. This morning I sound a little hoarse, so I'll be whispering for most of the day. Hmmm .... A Hoarse Whisperer!!! But it was so great to actually get in a rehearsal room and play the songs. No decisions have been made yet, and the process continues. You'll be the first to know.
Todays V-Blog is pure and simple. Thanks to all of you lot who helped me out, it is the Spike TV performance of Cheap Trick's Surrender, by Camp Freddy. Big respect to everyone who helped, and I hope that it is now a slightly higher res version of what has already been up on the web. Either way, I wanted it on my site - I got it on my site!! Enjoy. Its encoded slightly differently to get a higher res than usual. If people have problems with the MPeg4 thing, let me know.
Questions: -
Peebs - I dont think the acoustic track will be surrounded by security. All I plan on doing is having an area of the site that is only available to people who have registered for the Community and thats where I'll put the song. To be honest, with what we are now talking about with the Circus Diablo site (there are some new developments and ideas floating around right now) it wont make any difference anyway. So maybe it'll just be up there for all. Don't know yet.
RedPill - Email me a clip of your soundtrack thing, or FTP it and send me the details. Of course I'll give it a listen.
Jay - As always, a great question. Without giving too much away, we have so far had six guys come in, some of whom have done some stuff, some of whom havent. And we knew them all, either by word of mouth, or by a referal, or because they are friends. And the process is pretty simple. Send em four songs and have them come down and jam with us. I have to say its a tough call because so far, every drummer has been great!!
Jezzi - We are actually discussing CFR as we speak. Dave will be out over the summer, as he has both The Panic Channel and the new Rock Star to deal with, so we are working out alternative plans. Matt (Sorum) and Donovan and myself will be meeting with the 'Man' at Indie to see what we all wanna do. We know we will be continuing - we just need to get the schedules sorted out.
Daniel - Yes Sir. You are in fact, correct!! Rob did marry us in The Sunset Marquis Hotel - he was invested on the Internet, and performed a beautiful wedding ceremony for us. If that guy ever decides he's done with selling millions of records, he has a whole other career out there for him!! It was great, and Jen and I had a blast doing it. Regarding the 'Meet The Parents' thing .... I have to say that considering my In-Laws were presented with a world wide magazine front page declaring that some UK Pop Star had performed a marriage ceremony with their daughter and some tattooed freak from London ....... they have been nothing short of amazing!! I felt a little like Ben Stiller when I first met them, but I have been welcomed into their family with open arms.
OK - I am off to watch the Tivo (LOST and INVASION) - I fell asleep VERY early after all that work yesterday! Today we have a 'Band Meeting' - you know, one of those proper ones where we sit for hours with the management and discuss the plan. So more answers will come your way shortly. Enjoy the Camp Freddy video and I will be back at the weekend. New Camp Freddy site launch is VERY close. Days away. In fact....... ITS LIVE NOW!!! A year after the last update (in true CF style!!) we finally have the new CAMP FREDDY WEBSITE launched. Again, it will get tweaked as we go along, but at least we are back in business. CLICK HERE TO VIEW WWW.CAMPFREDDY.NET. Hope everyone has a great day.
Peace

FROM THE CELLPHONE
Hey kids. Its a quick update, cos I am typing it on my cellphone!! Gotta love technology, right? This week is all about auditions for Circus Diablo. With any luck, after playing the same four songs all day, all week, we might be able to let you know our line up. We'll see how it goes - in my experience, sometime you have to go through the process more than once. And I am having to update the blog from my cellphone because I am just physically not in front of my studio computer all week. In between CD stuff, I am frantically trying to finish up the new Camp Freddy site and also trying to finish editing a short film for some friends.
The Community is thriving and I LOVE that you are all getting involved. The acoustic track is still happening - its just finding the time to finish it. I can tell you that Stephen Perkins (The Panic Channel/Janes Addiction) has laid down a whole host of percussion on the track, which sounds killer. I need to get around to editing it all, and from there its just vocals and mix. As I am doing the whole thing in my own studio, you'll just have to be patient until I carve out some time to finish it.
I will get to answering questions later in the week, but just doing this on my phone has given me Carpel Tunnel Syndrome!! So that's all you get from me today. A full on post will happen when I can actually do it on a computer!!
Have a great day - back soon
Peace
Billy
