MIDWEEK POST

Hi everybody. Checking in midweek and all seems to be running fairly smoothly in MorrisonWorld. First of all, the event in Santa Monica - (you know, the one where you come and watch me pretending to be a DJ while I run an I-Pod on Shuffle Mode!) - is an RSVP event. What you need to do is email an RSVP to the following email address: info@geoffthomasdesigns.com. When you do this, tell them your name, if you will have a plus one, and mention that you are from the BillyMorrison.Com website. Your name will be put on the list, and thats it. Great art, great jewelry, rockin tunes ..... and free booze by the looks of it. Recipe for disaster!!!

Next thing is a request. Evan hit me with an email, asking if I had MP3's of the two acoustic songs that I did on CFR with Billy Duffy - Hells Bells and Rain. I dont have these songs, and I would like them as well. So if anyone has the two tracks as MP3's (I think they were from one of last years shows on Camp Freddy Radio, hit me up with an email, and maybe you would send them to me. That way, I would forward them on to Evan and anyone else that wants them. Actually, thinking about it - I would probably make them available on the Circus Diablo website. It is me and Duffy after all. And THAT starts me thinking - we have a few weeks coming up with Duffy off the road and back in LA. Maybe we should get back in the studio, do another track, maybe an acoustic version of one of the songs as well, and put up some more stuff on the MySpace profile to get you more music until the record gets released. Oh God - here I go again .... leave it with me.

Thats all I have for today - I am nearly up to date with the whole 24 thing - Seasons 1, 2 and 3 are down, and I am halfway through Season 4 (as well as staying up to date with the current Season 5) and it has to be the best television ever made. "DAMMIT - I UNDERSTAND HOW DIFFICULT THIS IS FOR YOU" ..... What I do once I have seen it all, I have no idea. And an all new Lost and Invasion tonight. TV Junkie. How sad!!! So I am gonna get moving and start work on the New York show. All questions welcome for a Weekend Q+A blog. I'll make it a V-Blog again. Until then, have a great day folks.

Peace

Billy

go to the second or third page, where they have a picture of Jack Bauer on the Lost island....I just love this site so much,I must share!!

Billy, thanks so much for making the guest list available to us partycrashers!! It will be nice to go to an event where you are going to be, without feeling the need to hide from security, though, if there IS free booze, I might have to hide from them soon enough!!

I love being able to pimp Ants Invasion on myspace! Keep em coming!!!!!!

Billy, I am in NY. What are my chances of getting into the Camp Freddy show???

Posted by: Kenny at March 22, 2006 10:39 AM

Wow, Billy! CF in NYC, missing you guys since Oct 04...my birthday is April 5, how about hooking me up!?

I'd be more than willing to help out all day and night with the coordination of the "19 people from LA to NYC plus a bunch of equipment, without losing anything or anyone", I live just outside of NYC on Long Island...standing offer! I have great organizational skills.

Love,
Sue (cmon, Jez, back me up, sister!)

I was happy to see Ants Invasion up on myspace, but now talk of more up too. That is awesome. Peace all!

Outside?? Uh huh uh huh......I'll be there!!

The "inside" wouldn't happen to be the HRC?? Would it? ;-)

Posted by: Robin at March 22, 2006 05:13 PM

of COURSE the inside is the Hard Rock, silly rabbit, check previous posts, and Billy, Sue is also, in the words of Friends'Monica..'Freakishly strong'..so if you need anyone to carry some amps around....she's your gal

Seriously, you guys, Billy gives an inch, and we want all nine..ahhahahahahahaha...Be happy to see him in Times Square, where they won't take your cameras away and there isn't a two drink minimum

it was my ADD or the Evelyn Wood speed reading course I took a few years back that made my Bells Palsy lazy eye skip completely past the words "Hard Rock" ;-)
Damn here we go again, it's like the private HRC opening with Velvet Revolver back in Sept. Why can't anything be simple?

Hiya!
I have that whole CFR with you and Duffy on my MAc. (thanks to Tina) I'll send it to you. I think it's the one with those songs on, but my memory is going..I remember Rain...but not sure about Hells Bells. Memory at 2:11am isn't too good.
Damn, I wanna go to that party!! Oo. Arghh.
Bored. And watch out when I get bored.
Hee hee.
Hugs

Lisa has just asked me to post on here to say that she is an idiot coz because she does not have the songs....Wrong show!!!
Lisa's words not mine, I would never dare to call her an idiot. I am not that brave.

David.

PS, I am sure if we all ask around someone is sure to have these songs.

Posted by: Dave C at March 23, 2006 03:25 AM

cant wait for the uk gigs when they happen -u guys in la get fucking everything lol

Posted by: paul at March 23, 2006 05:48 AM

oh lisa, if you got that from me then i wouldn't sent it cuz it has click throughout the whole thing that drives me bonkers. I was in the doheny chat room when I recorded it hence the click. I listened last night to both songs and the click is there, so I would love to get a click free version of the songs. LOL

I'm rambling now.

Posted by: tina at March 23, 2006 08:28 AM

HA HA HA...these events are always on thursday nights. 4-6-06 huh?

Posted by: Jillianne at March 23, 2006 10:03 AM

I hear you, Jez--I was "half" kidding--now I feel bad!

Billy, I was just kidding! But I really am willing to help if you need it.

Posted by: Sue at March 23, 2006 10:29 AM

Hells Bells & Rain are already online at www.dohenymedia.com/cf.htm - in case anyone who hasn't at least heard them would like a listen.

But these also have the clickety clicks all the way through. I don't think I've heard a version without the clicks.

Posted by: linda at March 23, 2006 02:12 PM

whats the worst thing to ever happen during the recording process (other than actual fist fights of course altho that could be funny like brian jonestown massacre) - like someone accidently dumping a whole track or something?? or spilling coffee down the board?

Posted by: mary at March 23, 2006 03:40 PM

Hiya! Is it possible to remove the clicks with some fancy software? (desperate AND serious)

Posted by: ylais at March 23, 2006 09:44 PM

A couple of days late, but are we still looking for those songs? I have them both if anyone still needs them (that includes you too Billy). Just drop me an email.
