UPDATE

A quick update to let you all know what's happening. We are back in the studio this week to finish the Circus Diablo record. I've been driving around with the mixes in my car since last week, and I am REALLY happy with them. When a song makes me wanna drive my car into a brick wall, just for fun, I know its a good one!! We will be all done by the end of the week. I missed doing CFR this weekend but to be honest with you, my heads a mess right now. Too much stuff floating around between the ears! I'm sure that the medical profession would have a term for it - ADD, Depression, Psychosis, whatever the fuck they would call it. I choose to say I'm just a fucked up ex-junkie, and sometimes it gets weird!! I'm used to it - whatever. So hang in there, and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.

Hang in there Billy. Go hang out with the guys, be good to yourself. I dunno about you, but I've NEVER been able to find the damn offswitch for my brain. Mute button, yeah...but the offswitch is a mystery.

Glad the CD mixes are working out and making you happy!

Haven't checked in in awhile, but I wanted to say a friendly hello. I agree with the above sentiments. I've often wondered why humans weren't designed with a killswitch sometimes....or like taking your brain out of your head, and putting it on the nightstand for awhile to cool off a bit. Actually, I got that last part from an old Bobcat Goldthwait show, except he was talking about removing your brain in relation to hearing the Entertainment Tonight music come across your T.V screen....."I guess I won't be needing this" was his comment shortly after, :D :D

well anyway, sometimes the brain needs a breather, and permission to have fun. that's ok though, because that's when I live in my heart the most!

take care and keep Shining in the Light Billy :)

I wouldn't mind an on -off switch every once in a while.

I quadraple the ditto of what the girls said.

Hey Billy,

You're right about not sweating the weirdness. Like the cold, wet weather & the flu thing that *EVERYONE* (except me - knock on wood) has had around here lately, it will pass. You've got everyone excited to hear the new songs!!! No driving around the neighborhood & hitting brick walls - or black Tiburons! *grabs defensive driving manual* ;)

xx

Hi There Billy
I don't know about being an ex-junkie, but having a brain that wonders in ten directions at times....hum, ADD...yeah I just love labels. I hope whatever had you feeling out of sorts is gone and you're feeling better! I call it being human, just part of life. You were missed on CFR. Cheers

Thanks for the update, Billy
((((hugs))))

Just take some minutes off to yourself, sit a in good position and relax...contemplate your mind with all the ten different things floating innit, and then visualize them dissolving until there is only one big and bright clear space. Do this in a place no one will disturb you for at least 10 or 15 minutes, breath in and out slowly. It helps.

When you're done know to yourself the support you have, here from ppl that care about you, from your wife and from your friends, and hang in there for these feeling will be gone before you can notice.

Peace,

JRoberto

Billy,

It seems as though Matt may have been mis-quoted, or maybe CF has a new "core" member??

Any insight?

From ABC Radio;

- Feb. 16, 2006

"Scott Weiland has found himself another band. Speaking to ABC News Radio at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party last week, Weiland's VELVET REVOLVER bandmate Matt Sorum said that the singer is being added to Sorum's all-star cover band CAMP FREDDY. He'll be joining a permanent lineup that already includes Sorum, Dave Navarro, Donovan Leitch, Billy Morrison and Chris Chaney. CAMP FREDDY are also known for the revolving cast of superstar guests that joins them on stage at their live shows.

Commented Sorum: [Weiland] loves it, man. He comes and plays with us, and we do BOWIE, and we, you know, he does some IGGY POP maybe, whatever he wants to do. And he has the best time because it's not stressful at all. There's no real, like, corporate thing behind it. And it's not like you have to come up with the goods — you just do it, you know."

Sorum says that the band are hoping to finally release their debut album next summer. Macy Gray, Steve Jones (SEX PISTOLS) and Jerry Cantrell (ALICE IN CHAINS) have already recorded guest spots, and Steven Tyler (AEROSMITH) has been asked to participate."

Thanks,
Jay

Jay I It seems a misquote to me...not like Scott was leaving VR to be CF only...more as if he was taking a permanent spot like vocalist whenever time allows it and he's not with VR...but I'm sure Billy can help us out here.

J-Rob,

I'm thinking the writer just got things screwed up, Matt probably mentioned Scott as a frequent/future guest and the journalist ran with it.

Posted by: Jay at February 23, 2006 04:36 PM

Would be fantastic if Mr. Tyler indeed sang on the CD. I can't Believe I'm missing those shows. Argh.... (Aerosmith played last night and will again tomorrow at Anaheim). Only tickets left are nosebleed.

Posted by: Kate at February 23, 2006 06:12 PM

hiya all! love and hugs. xoxox

CF-anyone who has played with Camp Freddy is a 'member'; but the core members are Camp Freddy. :D
That makes Scott a member.

Bet that was confusing for the journalist.

Billy, thinking of you lots!
hugs
