HOME ON THE RANGE - UPDATE
Most of you seem to have figured out already that we now have a Circus Diablo profile up at MySpace. I have a friend looking after it for me, but I can log in and take a look around when I want. And that place is SO addictive. No wonder I stayed away for so long!! Anyway, the page is up - CLICK HERE TO TAKE A LOOK. So for those of you who havent yet been over there, go ahead. Become a friend and do ...... whatever it is we do on these sites!!!
As promised, another V-Blog entry today. The gun range footage is very short – I didn’t really ask if I could take a camera in there, and didn’t really want to piss those guys off!! They’re all big, tattooed hunters, and of course, they’re all armed to the teeth!! So I just snuck a quick bit of footage and edited it up. My groupings on the target showed I was hurrying to get the footage – I’m usually a lot closer together!! Anyway – any excuse to squeeze off a few. At least I’m back in business with the video stuff. As and when there are enough questions, or I do something relatively interesting, I’ll do another one.
I have to stop listening to the Circus Diablo record. I’ve been driving around in the car, blasting the songs, and I have totally lost perspective on it! Best to just send it off to Mastering and listen again when it comes back. That’s the problem when you are a perfectionist – you just cant stop tweaking! But as I have said before, that is against the rules of this record, so ENOUGH ALREADY, BILLY!!!
So - the whole My Space thing. For some reason I have never got into it. Not that I think its rubbish. In fact I think its a great site. I just never got around to doing it. The Circus Diablo and Camp Freddy My Space pages were/are not run by us. But I am going to change that. Leave it in my (capable?) hands and I will begin the daunting task of building a MySpace page AS WELL as everything else I have going on the web!! Should be fun.
Thats it for today. See you guys soon.
Billy

A Reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:
Then did he raise on high the Holy 9mm Baretta, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine paper targets to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the people did rejoice and did feast upon the lambs and toads and tree-sloths and fruit-bats and orangutans and breakfast cereals ... Now did the Lord say, "First thou pullest the Holy Safety clip. Then thou must count to three. Three shall be the number of the counting and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the number of the counting, be reached, then pulleth thy trigger on the Holy 9mm Baretta in the direction of thine foe or paper target, who, being naughty in my sight, or just hanging there in front of you, shall snuff it."
Bwahaha... had to.

I really enjoyed the V/Blog, I am also jealous, I would really love to get into a shooting ranga, but as you know they are few and far between in the uk.....I wanna kill me a few paper targets, Oh well I will have to settle for the airguns at the local Fair, See if I can win Lisa a teddy.
The Ants song on CFR was.(I dont like the overuse of this word) AWESOME!!!
You said in your earlier post that you mat try a small tour of the Uk with Circus Diablo, What do you reckon the chances are of this? Or is it still all up in the air and just sifting through ideas?
I also have to mention, Lisa is one of John Lydons biggest fans and she is behind their decision with the hall of fame thing 100%.
Looking forward to the album.
Thanks for keeping us in the loop

hee hee Kate. I love that. "5 is right out."
The Pistols-I would be disappointed though if I were going to the induction.

I like your posts, you've got a good sense of humour. I am glad you are considering bringing back myspace. I bet if you asked there are a lot of us willing to help, haha. Well, I like to hear the music out there. You can click for hours and never run out of songs to listen to.

Star! ready for the Adam Ant biggest fan mud wrestling match?!
Okay, now I'm confused..bringing back my space..I thought Billy never was on my space.
I thought once that Camp Freddy my space maybe was run by you, Billy. I even messaged the Camp Freddy my space to ask if it was you. The answer I got was nope, 'I'm a fan.'
I was totally convinced it was you for some reason.
I haven't been on my space much the last few days.
Have I missed something?
Hugs
Lisa

It's so nice to have another vblog. Don't think that you always have to do something interesting or important to make one, sometimes we just like to see you say hello!
Enjoyed the shooting range lesson. Is there any particular event in your life that persuaded you to purchase a gun whether it be for amusement, defense, protection, or just in case?

Glad to hear you're doing better...there has been alot of positive/negative, up/down with pretty much everyone I know, so I think it's in the air these days.
I am excited that Circus Diablo has covered Adam & The Ants. I loooove the song, as well as "Physical" among others by him. It's always great to reintroduce older influences. Speaking of, a friend just sent me a link to some killer live older Thin Lizzy clips. Phil Lynott blows my mind every time. Sounds like the record is quickly becoming your crossword puzzle...you know, when you can't figure out the word, sometimes you have to walk away until later, when you go back and the word brilliantly hits you! Murphy's Law...
All these projects, all this music, all this excitement...never a dull moment, but then, I've a feeling you never asked for that anyway ;)
Nice to see you "shine"ing once again..

Nice to see another video blog from you Billy!
I dig the shooting range stuff, guns are rad. I'm another who awaits you're Myspace arrival, I'm sure you'll let us all know when your profile is up. Have a great one man!

Ooh myspace whores! YES! Bring it!

Lisa, Thanks for the laugh! 20 years ago or so, if you could have arranged for Adam to be in that mud, we could have had some fun! I'm a bit on the "old age pensioner" side of life now, hahaha.
Sorry to be confusing, that happens when you type fast and don't proof read. Some folks start sites for their fave bands. It's all rather confusing trying to sort the real deal.
Billy, glad to see you have one now...I begged for add!! Cheers folks
