NOTHING TO REPORT

The Stretch Limo

Thought I would pop in and post that .... there's nothing to report!! Just finishing some work in my home studio that I have had knocking around for a while. Stuff thats not really interesting but the deadlines are approaching and I really need to just finish and send out. Work is slowly starting on the December Camp Freddy show. We now know that it is at The Palms Casino in Vegas - in the Rain nightclub. Still no ticket details but as and when we figure that out, I'll let you know.

Motivation is lacking right now for me - there is plenty of stuff I can be getting on with, not least the free album idea that I have for this site. But it just seems to be one of those weeks where 'moving and shaking' isnt really cutting it, and the inspiration isnt flowing. So in my experience, the best thing to do is go with it. Dont try and force songs, or take meetings, or even pretend to have ideas! I have been rolling with the lack of movement and just hanging out. A lot of PS2 (Brothers In Arms and Socom 3) and not much else. I really have to finish one of those jobs today, so I know what I will be doing later on. And then tomorrow, I plan to take Jen down to San Diego for the night - go see Def Leppard (oh yes, baby. Lets get rocked!!!) and stay in a hotel for the night. A nice quiet breakfast on a balcony somewhere and then a slow drive back to LA in time to do the radio show with my boy, Dave. Seems like a plan.

Stephanie - I LOVED the Land Of The Dead! Pure schlock horror/blood and gore everywhere! Havent watched the extra features yet, but I'll let you know. I do want to see the Sean Of The Dead featurette.

Alec - Well done on the show. Its fun, isnt it?! And FYI - Socom 3 comes out for PSP next week, so that little Playstation is gonna get a good workout in the next few weeks.

OK - so I should get going and start my day of nothing!! Actually thats not true, Billy. Finish the god damn TV song so you dont lay around on the couch THINKING about you have to finish it!!! OK - motivational speech over. Think I better go lay down on the couch and rest up!!!
Have a great day. I'll be back soon - hopefully with something to tell you about. Oh yeah, and I have no idea why I picked todays picture. I was thinking about moving to Thailand and buying a bar on the beach and getting away from it all. And then I remembered these 'Tuk Tuk' taxi's. Whatever .....

Peace

Billy

What is it with this week? I've been lounging around and feeling tired too. Is it because the clocks went back, or because it's so bloody dark outside all the time? Well, here in Wales it is anyway.

Kinda doing the same thing right now. I think, for me anyway, it's a seasonal thing. Perhaps the time change as well. Enjoy the road trip with Jen.

Hey Man! Well, I think it's my first post here, but this is Lyn from Atlanta calling you m8! Just wanted to say HI, how's it going, what's up, and I'll be happy to run Rokbar-BangKok for you! You're a bad ass, one cool mofo, and I hope to be able to see you play live again soon! Till then, Peace!

Posted by: Lyn at November 3, 2005 12:38 PM

I'm hearing you all loud and clear! I can hardly open my eyes this morning, due to my 4yr old son having monster nightmares continually last night! Those monsters are killing me!
Ah the joys....

***HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEZZI***

What are your birthday plans for the day/night?

Posted by: KCee at November 3, 2005 01:42 PM

well, after attention whoring myself all over celebrity blogs looking for birthday wishes, I went to a salon and got my hair did...am off to the glamourous DMV, where a carpet of some color will be laid out for me to wait in line for an infinitely long time....then, it's back to my house, where I have a plethora of reading material awaiting me, a biography of Francis Bacon, and Andy Warhol's interview collection, volumes 1-6, Did I forget to mention I am a big geek?

love to all

Billy, Man.... your heading down to SD. I live like 7 minutes away from where DF is playing. Anyway, enjoy the show. If you are going to stay in downtown SD the "W" is place. It's right in the middle of everything and there are some great places to eat.

Thanks for the Vegas CF info. Let us know if you liked Def Lep. I am off to see them play in Irvine Sat Nov 12th.

ROAD TRIP!

Posted by: Kate at November 3, 2005 04:23 PM

First of all...Happy Birthday Jez!

AND Billy, Bonaduce is amazing. Last night was the episode where he tried to commit suicide. This show is so hard to watch but at the same time you can't afford not to watch because it is so intense. By the looks of things he is about to go to rehab but it must be hard for his wife and also the children. I really hope he does work it all out.

Good to see that reality TV is not dead...(well not yet anyway)...

Happy Birthday Jezzi!!! Hope it's a good one :)

JEZZI! Happy Birthday!

Posted by: laurie tuttle at November 3, 2005 11:50 PM

@Simon - Reality TV will never die as long as there are people willing to attempt suicide on camera.

How to pep yourself up:
Put on the new Franz Ferdinand CD. (you could have it so much better) then you'll end up stomping, and jumping, and goosing stepping, marching, saluting, ska dancing, doing ridiculous air guitar around your house..oh yeah and wierd versions of "The Office" dance too. :D While on your back on the floor.
Yep, I'm pepped.
(and sweaty...)

Hey Billy,
This is my first time to your site, I frequent Dave's but I had not idea that you had one too. I saw you guys at Irving Plaza a while back and I just wanted to say that you are fucking hott!

Thank you so much to my Morrison family!! for all your kind words and well wishes, I have been feeling quite mopey lately...anyway..dear, sweet, Kate, we prefer the alternate Berdoo spelling here in the IE,..hahahha, I am sorry I missed you then, also, it looks like I won't be able to make Vegas CF, as financial woes and lack of substitute preclude any chance of out of state debauchery!

Billy, have fun in San Diego,my niece lives a stone's throw from Chez Shamu, and my son considers SD his second home, it truly is a beautiful city, looking forward to CFR, you and Dave always make it FUN!

jezzi(pour some sugar on me..in the name of love)

Posted by: jezebel at November 4, 2005 09:25 PM

Berdoo? LOL...noted logged. At least I know what IE stands for. Sorry to hear you won't be in Lost Wages, Jezzi! I more than understand the financial crunch. I'll see if I can get into enough trouble for both of us.

Posted by: Kate at November 4, 2005 11:48 PM

Hiya all! Evening all. n all that. on my 2nd coffee. slept in really late. stayed up way too late. half aware of what i'm talking about.

Looking forward to CFR tonight. Hope Dave gets the webcast set up! I love it!!!!!

Jez, real attention whoring lesson (as if you didn't know): Strip off and have some glamour shots done, and post them on my space, or on tpc boards, put on own website, and put link to it everywhere, with a sexy invitation, act as if every guy (or gal) is the one. :D oh...not another facetious day.

Many hugs
Lisa

Posted by: sergio at November 5, 2005 09:17 AM

Billy,
Just an idea for on here.
A section for the guitars, musical equipment you
use. (and have used)
Funny Sergio that you asked a question about
that, when I'd stopped by to post about
having an 'equipment' section.
Zakk Wylde has a good one on his website.
Okay, he has a pretty fancy site and all;
and it's a shop too.
But it is what people want to know!

Hope you and Jenn enjoyed Def Leppard, and San Diego.

Love
Lisa

Billy,

I was listening to CFR this evening and was wondering what your thoughts were on Dave's story about the record company exec wishing a particular artist was "5 years younger".

With that in mind, does a band comprised of seasoned musicians have to have a Velvet Revolver type backstory to even get a shot at getting a deal these days?

Thoughts?

Thank you,
Jay

Billy-

Thanks man for the opportunity to be on CFR with you and Dave tonight to talk about MUFON. It was a lot of fun. You really should go to a UFO conference iwth him some time...some pretty interesting shit goes down there. Again I wanted to say thanks and it was great to talk to you both. I'll repeat myself...get Camp freddy up to seattle with Jerry Cantrell sometime. Until then I will just be happy as hell with my Camp Freddy Radio and Both you and Dave's web pages.

I see you like those war PS2 games.
I've been seeing a commerical for a few new ones-Husband has been drooling over them when they show it. My house sounds like a war zone as it is at times..he cranks up the sound system and my house shakes from the war games..lol Ok, so I may buy him these new games for Christmas BUT I may not see him for some time afterwards. Hmm..choices choices.
I want to buy myself the Resident Evil 4 that is finally out on PS2.
Ahh well--have a great day.
