CFR TONIGHT

Billy 3small.jpg

So its a brand new CFR tonight, and of course, its Jezzi's moment of glory. I know she has a load of stuff lined up, so I am sure we will be kept busy. Have fun tonight girl!! Dave and I will be joined by Dono, so it looks like it's gonna be a full house this evening. Expect the usual fun and frolics, and I believe Dave will be bringing his TV station in with him, so log on to 6767.com and watch the nonsense too!!

Saturday morning, and its nice and sunny out here in LA LA Land. I have been emailing with Allison this morning, and working on the Radio page. We are just tweaking, and she is being EXTREMELY patient with me. The problem is that I know how I want things to look, and work. But I dont have the knowledge (yet) of how to make that happen. So she has to listen or read my babblings about what it should look like, and then she has to interpret that into some kind of realistic design!! She is coping well with my whims, though - and I think we'll have that page pretty much sorted out soon. Then we will attack the video streaming TV page and I figure thats it. Wow.

Jay - I would say that we have written some great rock and roll tunes. And thats it right now. We will see how things pan out, and if we all feel like we can actually make a record and get on a bus, then we will name the band, put it together, and do just that. Positive? Yes. Moving? A matter of interpretation. I have learnt not to think about the end result and just enjoy the process.

JD - Steve most definately hit Indie first. He was there months before Camp Freddy. And he had nothing to do with us getting our show. The thanks for that goes to Brent Bolthouse (our manager) who had his ear to the ground (as always) and knew how cool Indie 103.1 was going to be, and also to Michael Steele (PD at the station) who worked with Brent and made the show happen.

Leon - I have played Zodiac MANY times on the show. Mark Manning (Zodiac's real name) was a face on the scene back in London, when Stimulator were going, and I saw them play many times. One of my favorite bands. Pure rock and roll. And yes, I will play Prime Mover (again) just for you. Anyone hip to the 'Mindwarp' deserves a shout out!! It wont be today, as i have done my playlist already, but listen in next week.

Ylais - Well, I am not 100% but I always thought Siouxie's real name was Susan Dallion. And I wrote some songs with Rob a few years back. Just for fun. And it was - he is a fantastic lyric writer and has an awesome rock voice.

OK - I think thats all I have. Its a quiet day here in Chez Morrison. But there doesnt appear to have been enough caffeine in the day so far. I'll grab the wife, jump in the car, and go and make an appearance at Starbucks. Always a good start to the day. Looking forward to getting on air tonight. Tune in or log on if you can, and have a great weekend all of you. Oh - by the way - I am DESPERATELY trying to find a track from 1988. It was by a band from London called Boys Wonder, and the track was called Goodbye Jimmy Dean. I NEED this track on CD so badly, it hurts!! Anyone with any leads, drop me an email. Pleading time is now over.

Peace

Billy

Have fun tonight on CFR kids!

Hey Billy, is that photo from the Snitch show in NYC?

remember, morrisonians....know the password....lol

it's the title of a popular Camp Freddy song, that Billy is known to sing lead, and will identify you as a "friendly"

pray for me..thank you SO much to everyone that posts here, for their kindness and well wishes..I love you

jezzi(have I said that before)

Billy,

Speaking of Zodiac/Mark Manning, have you ever read any of his books?

"Fucked by Rock" and "Collateral Damage" are two of the most entertaining rock books I've ever read. In comparison, those 2 make Motley's "The Dirt" look like a childrens book...

Give them a look if you get a chance.

Thanks,
Jay

Billy and Alison- great job guys, everythings looking really good, I know so many others have said it but I love the green!

Sending love your way Jezzi!

I unfortunately won't be around to watch or listen so am hoping some clever 6767/Morrison family members will get some cool pics to post, and I will for sure be listening in afterwards on Spread Radio.

JEZZI!!!!!
You ROCKED girl!!!
Well done!
I think you should have your own gig at indie!
So happy I got to hear & see you!

Jez, you're a natural!! The CFR show was great and you were amazing!! It was nice talking to you.

Billy, those plugs (tunnels?) RAWK!!! What size are you gauged up to? I'm sporting some 00g titanium tunnels right now. There's a guy that comes through here about once a year and stops in at the tat shop to sell his custom jewelry. It's nice to get stuff that you know everybody and their mom won't be wearing.

Jezzi, you were grrrreat!!! Excellent show tonight!

Good Morning!
The radio show was a blast last night.
I've got lots of shots of jezzi and some of Dave and Billy. I posted some of Billy over at Dave's community. I even got one of Billy showing off his new plug. (It came out kind of dark though)
I think I got a picture of his shoe?

Good show last night! Top shelf job Jezzi! Billy, you and Dave have been playing some amazing music of late. Thanks for the sounds lad...Slade, Siouxsie,etc...a really great mix...

Posted by: Mike C. at November 13, 2005 08:56 AM

Sorry I missed it Jezzi, but it sounds like you were awesome. Congrats!

Posted by: Twisted Angel at November 13, 2005 11:09 AM

Well done Jezz.
You came through with amazing confidence, if it was me I would have been a babbling wreck.

Posted by: DaveC at November 13, 2005 11:12 AM

If I sounded at ALL ok, it is surely only because I had Billy to keep me calm, and on track, I know you guys couldn't see him, but he was seated directly across from me, I pretty much directed conversation as if I was talking to him. Also, all four of those men, TK included, treated me with more kindness and respect than most men in my lifetime..kinda sad, really, when you think about it..

ok, last maudlin thing of the day...I am a better person I am sure, for my contacts with all of you

TERRI....how did u get it working?

Posted by: UncleCreepy at November 13, 2005 07:11 PM

UC~
The Stimulator tracks work for me, but not the Doheny ones. I've been playing the Stimulator tracks to my i-dog. :D And myself of course! Hoping my i-dog comes up with a good tune.

Billy~
Thank you for answering my questions. There's a Take That programme on TV here soon..some sort of reunion type thing. I missed all that here. I was living in the US then. I may be totally wrong, since I missed that era, but it seems they plug the Pop Robbie here so much, and tend to neglect the lyrics and rock. I'd like to see, hear more of the rock! Like that's a surprise.

There I go nattering again!

Aww..the i-dog is crying for more music...

Posted by: UncleCreepy at November 14, 2005 06:45 PM

Same here. Stimulator tracks working, but not the Doheny ones.
This happens to me lots because I'm on a MAC~
'Download' takes me to a page which loads up the mp3
with Quicktime; and plays it, lets play it in reverse, and all fun stuff. But not actually download. If it's regular QT I can right click and save as, and download. But if it's QT pro. I can't save as. So I can't actually download the Stimulator tracks.
