SATURDAY SQUIRRELS

Dave_and_billy_2

Good morning campers! Its been a few days since I managed to post here, but its a nice, peaceful Saturday morning now, I've had my three pints of coffee and a few nicotine sticks, and I am ready to type!! I am lucky enough to have a balcony with a beautiful view, and I get to watch these squirrels run around in the trees outside, while I fill my body with stimulants and kickstart myself. I am sure these squirrels have similar lives to us. I mean, I can almost tell when they have had a late night, or one of them is arguing with the other!!! Its like watching boyfriend and girlfriend sometimes ...... "HEY!!! Leave my fucking tree alone. And stop nagging me. I got a headache." ...... "Well if you didnt stay out messing with the garbage cans until 3am, you might not be so hung over today!" OK, I might have just officially become WEIRD!!! I am posting about talking squirrels on my blog!! Oh whatever -

Squirrel

So....The first thing is that Brother Dave is in Vegas, playing cards this weekend, and therefore CFR tonight will feature the dulcet tones of Brother Matt and Brother Billy. Ha! The Church Of The Latter Day Freddy .... hmmmm ...... we could all meet in the Rainbow Bar every Sunday morning and sing Jailbreak together ...... So enjoy the show. We will attempt to cover Dave, although his irreverent sense of humor will be sorely missed. I know he'll be back next week. By the way - thanks Wendy for the pic above of Dave and myself. Love it.

I am attempting to find a Web/Email/IT guy in Hollywood to have a bunch of stuff changed around on the sites. I have some ideas that I wanna do, and I need to have it all done properly, so the search is on for someone that knows their shit and can sort out all my World Wide Web needs. Once I get it all fixed up, things will look a little different around here. No doubt it will take me forever to get into gear with this, but the intention is there. So bear with me -

Billy_morrison_2

Eric - Now THAT would be a fun tour! The Stones, with CF opening!! Great idea. Now if you could just give Keith a call and make the suggestion, that would be wonderful. Thanks mate!

Tina - LOVE the 'Sex In A Tent' story!! Thats always a fun one - trying to get laid on the school camping trip. Ahh, one day I will write a book ....

Kate - Still no word on the ticket thing for the Key Club. Everyone is still discussing it all - I am staying out of it and they will decide what to charge and let me know. Either way, its gonna be cheap.

Kim - Actually, I don't shy away from my own opinions. I just don't really have one about the Sabbath/Maiden thing. Most of the reports are overblown - (I was there) - and it was just one of those 'rock and roll stories' that will be told (and exaggerated) for years. Maiden talked shit and disrespected the Ozzfest, Sharon struck back in defense of their festival. Bruce ends up with egg on his face (pun ABSOLUTELY intended!!) Simple.

KDee - Yes. The show will be an all-ages show. I will make sure of it.

Mya - Thank you for the Pilates props!! I have stuck with it and its now something I look forward to - in fact I am in there again this morning. I do cardio beforehand now, so I am officially becoming one of those 'exercise guys'!! And yes, Billy Duffy will be playing with Camp Freddy at the up-coming shows at the end of September and during October.

Talking of Pilates - I have to split. I hope you all enjoy the weekend. I will try and drop another post soon (I have been spending 10 hours a day staring at the other screen in the studio and have just not been able to face any more pixels at night!!) Have fun, play nice and see you soon.

Peace

Billy

hmmm, Billy, how about a little obscure trivia question, and the winner gets free tix to the show?

I have NEVER been able to answer one of yours, so, fear not, fellow dohenyesses, it's WIDE OPEN!!

Hi Sister Kate!

love to you and yours

Gonna miss CFR tonight....AGAIN! Damn work...maybe I'll be able to catch a bit of it on my "lunch" or something.

Abby (can I be a "sistaahhh")

G'day sisters!! And Billy too!!
Looking forward to relaxing this evening to a little CFR. I spent 3 days this week getting a daughter off to college. Good stress, but stress none-the-less. This is the first evening I've had in awhile that will be all about me...alone in my room. I'll light some candles, turn on CFR, and relax. Thanks Billy for being a part of my "self-nurturing". I'm the oldest child in my family and have that classic "caretaker" thing going on. Where do you fall in your family line-up, Billy?

I've missed 90% of CFR tonight... Did my good deed of the week by babysitting for a friend.

I heard tickets are first come first serve for the Key Club gig? I have dialup so my CFR has pockets of empty air while it buffers. I need to get dsl...

Hi Billy,
Tried to call CFR tonight but couldn't get through, anyhow just wanted to say thanks for putting my picture up...

Wendy (a.k.a. wannabe photographer)

p.s. can't wait for Sept. 29th. (waves to everyone)

Posted by: wendybird at August 27, 2005 08:11 PM

Hi Wendy, can't wait either, Camp Freddy AND Camp Teddy!!!

Kate, I am in same boat, it's like strobe light CFR, does that make sense?
But, I think it means, that even if you get tix in advance for Key Club, it's still general admission, don't worry, I have a feeling our fellow partners in crime (wink ,wink) will hold our place in line for us..

and not for nothing, but I was ALL ALONE in doheny chat last night....very sad, very sad..

love to Billy and Jen!

Hi Billy,

Thanks so much for your response.

The hardest part of Pilates or any system is sticking with it consistently. If you can do that, you are "in", and your body will have kicked into auto pilot with it, making you then feel weird if you don't do it. I guess massaging your organs from the inside out has a way of doing that!

Hope to see you all the 29th...be there with bells on as they say....lol also hope to have my ass kicked with amazing aural vibrations :D

Stay crazy,
Mya :)

Dang, I work until 7:30 on Thursday's is there a flu going on in the next few weeks??? I'm starting to feel a little sick, cough, cough.

Billy is there a chance to allow cameras in this time??? Last time (at the key club) I had to go back to my car and sneak one camera in my ****** and the other in my boot. Needless to say that although having a camera in your ****** might seem like fun, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Don’t get me wrong I will do it again but it would be sort of nice not to stress about it this time.

Posted by: Wendybird at August 28, 2005 11:58 AM

Sounds like a plan, Wendy! I'd love a chance to bring in a camera! I adore your shots, but would love some of my own!

Posted by: Kate at August 28, 2005 01:28 PM

I'm praying I'll be able to go to the concert!! My partner in crime(my sister) goes to school until 7 so I'm hoping she won't be too pooped out.

Thanks for showing the squirrels some love Billy! There was a whole field of squirrels next to my office...so friendly, we loved them and fed them every day...last week one of our asshole bosses had the handyman poisen them...now we just have lots of little squirrel corpses :(

Ah well...such is life, I guess.

Thanks for the Birthday shout out Junie!!! ((((big hugs))))

Happy Monday all...

Hey Billy - I just had a chance to listen to this week's CFR, and you made me laugh when you were telling your Iced Tea story. I also have a "bad experience with Long Island Iced Tea" story, the details of which don't need to be shared, but suffice it to say after the 4 I had that night, I've never been able to bring myself to have another.

Posted by: linda at August 29, 2005 03:25 PM

woot!!! got mine too!!!

Junie, if you read this, do not, I repeat DO NOT buy a ticket, I have it for you, sister!!

love,
jezzi

YAY!!!
Just bought my ticket!
Can't wait to rock out with the posse again!!

Hey Billy ~
thanx for taking my 'street report' from the Sunset Junction.
After I spoke with you, I watched Freida Payne (Does she ever age?) & John Cale.
The best gig was Richard Street (Temptations) - WOW! What a great show he put on. Really fun!
Thanx again for the tix!
