TIPS AND TRIPS
What is it about LA that just makes me work non stop? I have been working like a dog since the moment I got back from my Ozzfest trip. I mean, I got around to posting most days while I was out there, and havent dropped a word since I got back. And I still have a ton of shit to do - I dont understand!!! But it was fun to tour with those guys for a while - and all I can say is .....Sabbath fucking ROCK!!
Anyway, I wanted to give you a quick update on things. First and foremost, I can see!!!!! Its official. I went for a check up today down at AXIS, and I am 20/15 - which is kinda Spinal Tap language for 'It goes to 11!!' No pain, great vision, and a new pair of Gucci sunglasses to celebrate. My HUGE thanks to everyone at Axis for talking me through it, being kind, informative and professional, and for giving me my eyesight back.
Also, I'm not confirming or denying anything, but the House Of Blues on Sunset are having a nice little X Games party next friday 5th. And I am sure that Camp Freddy will be nowhere near the venue on that day. Read between the lines people, I am trying to help here!
What else? Well, more auditions, more songwriting, more stuff for the upcoming Bonaduce reality show, more work on the Freddy record. Now remind me about Hawaii......? Oh yeah, I remember......vacation, sandy beaches, no phones .........
It has to be a quick one, but I will try and get another post in soon, and answer any questions I havent answered. Just wanted to get in while I could and say hi. So ...... HI!!! Love this pic from Frisco of Dono and me rockin out - Nice Raiders Dunks, Mr Morrison!
Peace
Billy

Yeah I know what you mean about the vision thing. My family still doesn't understand how I have 20/15 when my grandmother has macular degeneration and my mom can't see much of anything without her lenses. Congrats on the vision. Now you'll be able to see all sorts of things happening in the audience.

Hiya! Thanks for posting!
That's a hot pic of you and Dono!
I was strangely enough, thinking about Dono, and his musical tastes..I was playing Tubeway Army/Gary Numan on my itunes. One of my all time faves. Now I've paired it with Dono! He's got good taste in music!!! ;)
Glad you can see! Woohoo!
Love to everyone,
Lisa

Well, since Camp Freddy isn't doing anything even remotely close to the House of Blues next Friday, it would be pretty easy to say that there might not be a few CF fans nearby the House of Blues next Friday. But if we happened to be nearby, would it help to bring first born sons as collateral to trade for entry into the HOB? He's great for indentured service...
I'm just sayin...
Congrats on your eyes Billy! Fantastic news!

"No pain, great vision" - congrats Billy! You must be stoked!
Since CF won't be around HoB next Friday, I thought maybe I wouldn't like to meet up with any of you CF fans who won't be there either.
Anyone else not have that idea too? LOL!
Posted by: laurie tuttle at July 28, 2005 11:01 AM
Laurie, I wouldn't like that either! Great idea!
Posted by: Kate at July 28, 2005 11:51 AM
Laurie and Kate, I plan to be nowhere near that neighborhood next Friday, so don't email me at the link below, so I don't have to give you my digits, so we won't be able to hook up!!!
Abby, let's go see Kansas next Friday...wink, wink

Oh No!! I was looking at the HOB website and most of the shows are 18+ Please tell me that's not true for CF!!!

Congrats on the 20/15 eye site and the new CF songs. Love the picture you posted from the SF show. I'm actually standing right below the speaker in the pic! CF ROCKED the house that night!! Still trying to find you more from our PR photo guy. I may be in LA but I'll try not to make it to HoB either :-)
Best,
Michele

Still showing Kansas on the HOB.com site.
This is one of those 'Patience' things, huh....

Color me sad, just spoke to a lovely sprite at the HOB, she sounded totally tubular, you know..she gently informed me that next Friday's Camp Freddy gig is for ESPN people ONLY!!! The restaurant is still open to the public, but Music Hall admittance is strictly prohibited unless you are wearing identification, or something to that effect
so, Amy, Laurie, Kate...who do we have to kidnap to gain access? I say we show up anyway and do one of those spy movie thingys where we knock some guy out and drag him to an alley where we switch clothes with him...Are you WITH me?
jezzi(not that I would be anywhere NEAR Hollywood next Friday)
Posted by: jezebel at July 29, 2005 07:43 PM
OR...
we just stun said guy, take his clothes & send him in naked. While there is a fuss over the streaker, we sneak in!
What could go wrong?
OR...
we could wear 'I'm with the band' t-shirts.
That always works doesn't it?
OR...
hey Billy - can we buy you dinner Fri nite, oh, somewhere, I don't know, say, around 8430 Sunset Blvd, somewhere like that? You know, since you've got no plans & all.
(*pst* Jezzi, Amy, Kate - refer to 1st suggestion for what to do with Billy after dessert)

BILLY ARE YOU AWARE OF THESE -

I'm they are dunks, and you seem to like the whole Willy Wonka theme, they seemed right up your alley.

Jezzi, Amy, Kate, Laurie ~~~ Just in case you haven't been to dinner at the HoB - you can actually "watch" the show from the upstairs restaurant - though parts of the restaurant are cordoned off (if it's a private gig), the main part of the restaurant has glass windows that look right down onto the stage.
I suggest you make dinner reservations early-ish and see if you can snag one of those tables that look down onto the stage. Then just eat really really slowly. :-)
