SEE DOHENY IN NEW YORK
Today we are off to Las Vegas to play at the Hard Rock Hotel's 10th Anniversary Party. Very exciting. The show is tomorrow, but we are all flying out today so that we can be a part of the various other gigs, dinners and parties that are happening over the weekend. I'll do a full report Monday.
So my big news is that we have decided to have a few friends at the showcase in New York next week. We will be doing an 'up close and personal' show in Manhattan on Thursday May 5th during the day. The venue is very small and private, so it wont be a full on gig - just a few people hanging out with us and a few business types watching what we do. Details will be emailed to the winners (and I am not sure if there is anyone even reading this on the East Coast!!) but here's what we are going to do. Email me why you should be there! Tell us the reason why it should be you that comes to see us. The best five entries will be able to bring themselves and a friend to see Doheny's first performance in New York. Email me at -

and I will reply on Monday when I am back from Vegas with the address and the time. We will put you plus one on the security list ...... and that will be that. Come down, hang out with us, and watch us play.
OK - so thats that. Looking forward to seeing if we have anyone reading this over on the East Coast!!
I'm off to pack a bag ...... oh ...... that's right, I dont have to. I never unpacked the UK bag!! Oh well, then I am off to frantically learn a couple of the tunes that we are playing tomorrow. Have a great weekend, and I'll be back soon.

sigh, I am on the east coast Billy, but unfortunately I'm in Canada. Good luck to all who win.
Billy, wanted to say I just listened to the Drive Me remix over at myspace and it rocks. As you know, Drive Me is my favourite Doheny song so was a bit apprehensive at first, but as soon as I hit play I realized it's pretty cool. I love it!

Damn it. i would so totally come to the gig, but i have to be in chicago on the 6th to see NIN and i am flying to Vegas on the 7th.

Bloody hell! I wish I could go! However, I have to be at the office as we have patient hours, and unfortunately, NYC isn't close enough. Next time make it in Philly so Linda and I can attend! I really wish I could go. And what a generous offer too...:(

I would *love* to make it to the NYC gig, but alas, my off-season is over.
If it were just a few weeks earlier, I'd be pleading my case via email, booking a hotel and hopping a bus!

Damn it, Billy! I am in NYC and would adore seeing Doheny, but I have another obligation to a friend that's coming to town from SF. If the show started after 9 PM I could totally be there, but I doubt it's going to be that late. Please post more info soon about the time. I think I'm going to cry!
