FEEL LIKE CA CA!

Davedoheny2_1Aaaargh. Too early. Cant think, cant type, 3 hours sleep. Leaving for London ...... wanted to thank everyone that came last night. It was a hectic show for us - havent played in four months and it felt like it!! Hope it sounded ok out front. Played California (my guitar was out of tune), another new one, By My Own Design (which sounded pretty good) and opened with Does It Really Matter (couldnt hear anything except feedback the first two songs!!). Whatever, it was good to play again. Wanna get out on the road so badly!!

Gotta stop typing and get ready to leave - I am so tired, it hurts! But I'm back Wednesday night, so make yourselves at home here, gimme some questions to answer when I get back, and I'll post again on Thursday (probably at 4.00am cos I'll be ruined with the Jetlag!!!)

Peace

Billy

My first time posting here. You are hilarious on CF radio. You and Dave should be given some form of tv show on one of the music channels. The way you play off each other, take turns in being the straight man, etc. is sheer brilliance.

Be Cool,
Kefer

Ditto that...I'd love to see you and Dave on some sort of MTV reality show :D

Hey Billy! Doheny rocked last night, ( I was next to the lady xoxo who yelled " I love you Billy!" You know who you are. Mortisha8 was able to get around 10 pics w/ my camera before the batteries died, so I've sent them on to her to put up on her site, and have asked her to forward them to you. I really enjoyed all the songs and J.S is a riot! Have a safe and fun trip.

Peace

Elsa

Hey Billy!!! Glad the show went well. :D
Woohoo! Hope you're getting some rest on the plane flight..though I've always had a tough time getting any sleep on a plane. I get too excited I think. Get all fidgety too, as in tossing around trying to get comfy. But thank goodness some airlines stick the tv/video game console in the back of the chair in front of you these days. Playing Mario sure does make the time fly. (oops. bad pun. didn't mean to do it)
Love and hugs

ok, I'll admit it, that was me who said, "I love you, Billy!!", and I meant EVERY word of it!!
You boys were AMAZING!! It just looked like all of you, Jon, Sean, Tony, and the DREAMY Colin were having SO much fun, it's nice to see bands playing with such passion!!
I had my trusty disposable, we'll see what happens, since my first pics of you at Napster event didn't turn out...
Thank you SO much for the Camp Freddy picks!
I know you didn't know how many were in our party, and that you just grabbed a handful, but there were EXACTLY enough to go around, it brought such a delicious feeling of comraderie to the girls!!
Lisa, I have a special prize touched by Billy himself that will soon be on its way to you!!
Thanks again, Billy, for putting up with an old bird..see you on the 13th!
love
jezzi(my first time!!)

Pics from the show on the 23rd...My Doheny pics never seem to turn out as well as some others, my camera doesn't seem to like to fog ;) Also, since I was standing right under you Billy, most of shots are of only you and/or Jon, because I couldn't get any other shots from that angle. Anyway, enjoy them everyone!! =) (even caught a smile ;) )

I'm sorry Tina, I posted more about the concert at The Panic Community under Billy Morrison Appreciation Thread. Billy Duffy and Michael Des Barres were both rockin' it at the show with the rest of the audience..

I think I snapped a pic of Michael, don't know if I got one of Billy or not, damm disposable, one of these days, I will move up in the techno world...
As soon as I develop the pics, I will email to you all.

Awe Wendy =( You were super-duper missed!!! If only Wendy had been there, we'd have millions....well maybe not quite millions, but plenty of great pics!!

Jezzi, of course I will put them up for you! I have tons of space ;)

It was definitely a great show...gotta love those venues that are just about the size of my living room!! Soooooo close to the band =)

Aww Jezzi thanks, I love Duffy sitings as you know. (still thinking of ways to lick his chest)

i have a few questions...

what do you think of the new nin and reznor in general?

if all of civilization was infected with a terminal disease and the only way to save everyone was that you had to shag one of the desperate housewives, which one would it be?

what's your take on bands that play the same setlist night after night? yeah, it's easier, but isnt a lack of spontaneity a bit of a drag (assuming they have more than one album)?

Posted by: bobbi O at April 26, 2005 06:16 AM

Billy!

Have a great time in London. What sends you out there, if you don't mind me asking?

The Gig show was great, you guys did good! I enjoyed Ricky Warwick and Owl, too.
I will have some pics up from Elsa's camera soon.

hope everyone's doing well

Welcome Home, Billy! :D

Geez...Billy is such an easy word to spell...you'd think I'd not have a typo on that... ;P

Someone posted an interesting question on Dave's blog Billy...I'd love to hear your answer too...if you could customize your own Billy Morrison (or Doheny) flavor of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, what would be in it???

Posted by: Cori at April 27, 2005 04:23 PM

for anyone interested, NIN have put their new album up on myspace for fans to listen to before it's released next week.

Wow! They did?!! Thanks Tina. (no I shouldn't be up right now, but i can't stop playing with my new guitar. it's so brilliant. it's so perfect. as soon as i had it in my arms it became attached to me.)

Posted by: ylais at April 27, 2005 07:46 PM

I can't believe I got a guitar so perfect for me!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: ylais at April 27, 2005 07:47 PM

Everyone who has looked at it so far has said, "I want a new guitar."
I think I'm going to have to put an evil eye on it or something (but it's so beautiful as it is)

Posted by: ylais at April 27, 2005 07:49 PM

I love Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ben and Jerry's, still after all these years.
Fave flavour ice cream everyone?

Why am I asking that question?I don't eat ice cream much anymore. When I do I get a 99 ice cream at the beach.

Posted by: ylais at April 27, 2005 07:54 PM

Welcome Back! How was your trip? The show was great and thank you so much for the pick!! I wish I had some pics from the show but I discovered my camera was dead right before you guys came on. Unfortunitly it looks like it's more than just a battery issue. I hope it's still under warenty! Have a great time in Vegas!

I finaly have a question for you:
After the show we saw you out around the side of the club while we were waiting for the valet and wanted so badly to ask to take a picture with you. If we had, what would you say and what would run through your mind after? We were too scared and worried you didn't want to be harrased.

Posted by: Rain at April 28, 2005 03:14 AM

Lisa you goof, get to bed ;b

Glad you are in love with your new guitar. I am expecting you to record a bit of your playing so I can hear you now. ;b

My fav ice cream flavour is Vanilla. Yeah I know boring but I love it. I also love butterscotch dilly bars from Dairy Queen. OMG, i get a box of 10 and within 3-4 days they're all gone. I don't get them that often.

Welcome home Billy, missed you bunches.

hugs,
tina
