THE SATURDAY UPDATE

TotalrockIts a quick one this morning to remind you that CFR is, as usual, live on Indie103.1FM tonight (also available on the website - www.indie1031.fm). We have Eric Avery coming in tonight and I am sure the acoustics will get busted out again.
And talking of Camp Freddy Radio - those of you in the UK can check out the show on www.totalrock.com on Mondays and Thursdays. We love Totalrock and in fact, I will be doing a live interview by phone, all about Doheny, this coming thursday at 5.30pm UK time. Tune In, Turn On......and listen to me ramble on inanely cos it will only be 9.30am here in LA!! Expect plenty of coffee-slurping noises and sucking on cigarettes!!
Thats it - I am outta here for now. Have a great day people.

Peace

Billy

Billy,

Accoustics huh? Sweet.

Random conversation about strippers, punk rock an road stories are also not only welcome, but expected.

Thanks,
Jay

Billy,
Saw your pic on wildlife works.. Have you been involved any further with thier events.. other than lending your bodies as billboards?

heya, good show last night. Lisa, lucky you get to hear the interview. Don't forget! ;) I've nothing much more to say today I guess. I know unusual for me. ;b

Tina~It must be one of those days. I don't have much to say either.
It's scaring me.
I think I'm simply tired, that's all. I think of things, but got no energy to get them out.

Billy~I enjoyed CFR last night too. Unfortunately missed the first half, but I'll catch that over on the TPC radio Dave's blog.
(almost called it the CFR radio :D )

I missed hearing you talking and joking more like you do on CFR. Maybe you did at the beginning.

No offense to anyone else, but I liked it one time when it was just you. There was a CFR when it was just you wasn't there? I'm sure there was, and my pal David over here is interjecting and saying nope Donovan was there. (nosey David :P)

Love and hugs
Lisa

Billy my dear! CFR was great! And you are so right, the interaction between the 2 long time buddies Dave and Eric was awesome.

What would you guys say to having some of us 67s and Billy bloggers come in to the station as guests on cfr on day when there's not much going on? Being the regular listener and caller that she is, jezebel would be great to have on. I'll come along and bring some coffee. ;)

Billy~you'll fly me over especially for a guest 6767/Billy Bloggers CFR right? :D

Billy~I have this weird obssession, when I hear songs on the telly, I go "Oooo, that would be cool for CF to do, or Doheny to cover" Help help! It won't stop. If I posted each time I thought that, damn this would be a very long comments page.

Right now I'm going, ooo..Blondie, and The Buzzcocks...some of that...

Would anyone dare do Heart of Glass I wonder?
I've always thought of that as one of all time best songs.
But 'Call Me', "Hanging on the Telephone", "Atomic" !!! (Anyone want to wear a black plastic bag and fishnets singing? I loved that.)

Or, here's one~ "I love you silly thing"
I haven't heard that for a long time. a couple of decades plus!!!

RP~did you check out totalrock?
Right now they have an ad for a t-shirt online store, that's selling "Kill Chavs" tees.
(made me think of that thread on tpc board)
I wouldn't bloody wear one I tell you. I'm so peaceful. ;)
There's a few on there on other topics that are pretty funny though.

Yeah, I did lise, but why is the show only like an hour long (imagines the whole show speeded up, and Bill and Dave talking in silly high pitched squeaky voices!)

Incidentally, if there are any more of those special package deals going that Lisa was rambling on about, I'm in for 2!

So frustrating, all this damn good music "over there"

Oh and I'll happily sing any Blondie song you'd care to mention!

I love you allllllllll! (bit loopy today, not enough sleep)
