LIFE CAN BE SURREAL
Had to whack this pic up today as it still seems a little weird!! I just did a Discovery Channel program called The Science Of Star Wars, where I interact with C3PO and R2D2!! Anthony (who played C3PO in the movies) was amazing - full of laughter and joking around - he put me at ease the minute I walked on set. The 8.00am call time meant waking up at 6.00am, so I am a little fried right now, but it was a lot of fun and the Gibson Digital Les Paul got a good work out on camera. A successful morning. The program airs in May, so look out for it.
Kim - Good work with the benefit money - it all helps. And sorry with the Indie Phone Situation. I'll have words at the weekend.
Jay - Cantrell is performing in Seattle that same night with the reformed Alice In Chains, but my man Duffy will be onstage with Freddy at The Pond for sure.
Bobbi-O - It depends on who ends up producing the rest of the record. We are happy with the Scott Humphrey tracks, and the Clink produced Dust also came out really well, so we'll see who ends up doing the rest of the record. The rest of the demo's are 'home-produced' so they would all get re-recorded.
OK - back to the madness of working on this Arrowhead Pond show - see ya!!!
Peace
Billy

Billy,
Sweet pic with C3PO, fucking surreal indeed.
With that in mind, what can we expect from the Discovery Channel project? I mean, do you break into "God Save The Queen" with 'droid back up or what?
Do tell please.
Thank you,
Jay

Hey Billy,
Let me start by saying your wife is beautiful. I also hope that you can relax soon.
I am sad to say that I missed the CFR show on Saturday. Can you ask Dave to add it to the PC radio he has been using of late? Also do you think CF will play other shows in the future in OC?
Thanks,
Matt

Hey there Billy
please do have words about the Indie phone situation... I kept getting that disconnection too, usually it would just ring and ring, especially when i called in with an answer to the guitarist question for benefit show tickets. Before that though, I did manage to get through and specifically asked for a Camp Freddy shirt. The girl on the phone said "sure!" and got my info and it was sent out....
BUT it arrived and it's not a Camp Freddy shirt or a Doheny shirt or anything I would actually wear. It's a Ricky Warwick shirt. No offense to the guy, but who in the world is Ricky Warwick?
If anyone knows and likes him I have a lovely shirt for ya!

Hiya Billy!
Had a cold, hence the short absence. Still have a cold actually; but something stirred me up long enough to get going:
ebay Camp Freddy auction here~

I just sent a message to the seller correcting them, and you know what on!
Thinking about bidding...

hi Lisa,
Hope you get better soon. LOL Billy Martin. I see that he's put in the correction to Morrison. ;)
Sorry for my absence, I'm having a little trouble with stress of my wrists from typing I do it all day at work. Trying to ease off till the pain goes away.
Hey billy and everyone, have a great day.
hugs,
tina

I saw Kenny Baker [R2-D2] in the canteen at Granada studios once. He signed a Birthday card for a guy who worked in the warehouse who was a BIG Star Wars fan.
I still don't get this whole deal Billy. How does the digital Les Paul, Star Wars and the Discovery Channel all fit together? It seems very odd, but then you say "life can be surreal."

ooooh, I wonder how many peeps that guy had to stomp on to get guitar picks used by the former manager of the Yankees?
what a goof?
Billy, the Camp Freddy shirts that mortisha is speaking of, were they the shirts that were being sold at Key Club? Are you going to be selling them or the posters tomorrow night at the Pond? It would make sense, seeing as though it is a tsunami victims benefit...what do you say?
jezebel(there was no pick)
