KEYS TO THE CITY
Wow - what a success. Last nights show at the Key Club was completely sold out and the club was rammed full from floor to ceiling. We had a fucking blast and played for over an hour. Slash, Courtney Love, Steve Stevens, Jerry Cantrell, Jon Clayden, Annabella Lwin, Lemmy, Steve Issacs, Michael Des Barres, Steve Jones and Linda Perry all joined us onstage throughout the night. So much fun, and all in the name of charity. I was so happy to see so many people turn up for the event - a huge THANK YOU to everyone, including Brent Bolthouse, Indie 103.1 and The Key Club for helping make it all happen. And thank you to Dave's lovely wife, Carmen, for bringing her new act, The Bombshells, and joining in the evening. I'm a little dazed and confused this morning - it was a long day, and a long set to play, but I feel good. Back into Doheny rehearsals this afternoon - more loud guitar please!!
The movie sequel thing was funny - my personal favourites are the The Lord Of The Rings and The Godfather 2 (although no-one mentioned the Harry Potter ones!! I love them!!) Electric Boogaloo being nominated for best AND worst sequel is hilarious!! I think my worst sequel is Oceans 12 - I LOVED the original, and walked out of the sequel. BUT - hold the press - the reason I asked is because my favourite horror/chiller flick, The Ring, just had a sequel made......The Ring 2!!! I am praying that its as good as the first one - please, when anyone gets to see it, post a review for me up here.
OK - does anyone have the new slimline Playstation 2? I got mine yesterday and it is TINY!!! Its so small!!! It came with the new Getaway game, Black Monday - cant wait to rig it up and start playing that thing - the first Getaway was so cool. Again - hope the sequel comes up to scratch.
Time, I think, for my magic liquid - the ol' Venti from Starbucks. Camp Freddy Radio tomorrow - God, the weeks just roll by so quickly!! We have a couple of guests on the show tomorrow, so it should be a good one. Have a great Friday everyone, stay safe, and I'll be back on the weekend. The show was great last night! What happened to Juliette Lewis? I thought she was supposed to sing with you guys last night.
Are you still going to the Robert Knight show tomorrow night? I'm going to check it out, so hopefully I'll see you there.

Damn, sounds like a real good show. Here's a suggestion for you - package a short, live dvd with the some of the best live CF moments with the album when it comes out. A bit easier said than done.

I would have loved to have heard Pretty Vacant. I don't suppose any of it can be played on Camp Freddy Radio, coz of all the copyright and royalties stuff.
I'd like to phone in to Camp Freddy and have a quick chat, but I don't really want to be holding on on an international call. Do you think it would be trying my luck if I asked Indie 103 if they'd accept reverse charges / collect? hehehe

I waited to long to get tickets to the show. Will you guys be playing again? I know you all are busy with other bands. How do you feel about Limewire? I found a video clip of CF with Slash (feel like makin'love) very cool. Hope to see CF live.

Billy, I completely understand the dazed and confused, I am just now realizing it wasnt a dream...and appreciating it more!
Thanks to Wendy for the pics, Oh my God...it was amazing..and the way you took your shirt off and went right for the audience...well, Lisa, I am glad I was on the side...I think I would have embarrassed myself more than usual.
BILLY!!! Don't mean to shout, but, what about Tshirts and posters, are there any left...what is going to happen to them?

Billy, very happy to hear the show went well and everyone had a great time!
If you do happen to have any tshirts or posters left, would be very interested in purchasing one of each, if possible, as the designs rocked.
A little while ago I saw a music video I haven't seen in awhile... Crazy On You by Heart. As a teenager Heart was one of my most fav bands. Ann's voiceis one of the best in rock and I realized girls could play guitar just as well as guys when I heard Nancy. My fav period of their music is the 70's.
Billy, I think the Wilson sister's doing Crazy on You with Camp Freddy would be awesome. ;)
Also, if you take requests for any CFR shows, would love to hear same song sometime. ;)

Hi Billy, I was going to come over here and post the pictures I took but thanks Lisa for getting my back. I completely forgot to do it yesterday. (you know this bird sometimes/almost always has her head in the air)
Photos excellent, no but good enough to squeak by.
Anyhow it was an awesome show as always, nothing short of excellent. Thanks for the shot of pure Rock N’ Roll into my veins. The high should last for a while…
