KEY CLUB MOVIE CLIPS

Tonybillysmall_1So first of all I wanna say a big THANK YOU to Karen, who has not only put up the movie clips from The Key Club show, but has also done a cool 'Television' thing on her page and made it look all 'Dohenylike'!
You can click here - http://www.rocknrollaccess.net/dohenymusic/ - or you can scroll down and click on the 'Doheny Video Clips' link in the Media Section. Thanks again Karen - it looks great. The clips can take a while to download, and the quality is not 100%, but thats the trade off, I'm afraid. If we put a 10 second clip up, the quality will be pretty good, but to put whole sections of songs up there takes a lot of space. So enjoy.

Dave has also been busy over on his blog, putting up some clips of CFR (thanks to Skot - Big Up Fella!!) and you can check them out here - http://www.6767.com/cfr.htm - they are VERY funny!! We had a blast on Saturday, and we stayed late to record a Xmas Day special, which features a new segment that we like to call "Girls From The Weekly".....where Dave and I call up the Escort Girls from the back of the local radio and chat to them!!! It came out really well, so I hope some of you get a chance to have the radio on while you're digesting the turkey dinner.

Doheny are back in rehearsal again today. More work on the 'Riff' idea we had last week, and I believe Jon and Sean have been cooking up something that we will be working on today. We are in good shape now, with every song demoed and ready to play live. So I feel like we will go in to 2005 ready to make a record, and armed with a full complement of live tracks for us to tour with - lets hope we get the chance. Either way, I am sure that Doheny will get some product out there next year, so that we can get out of LA and come and see you all.

I have to tell you that I have loved putting this Blog together this year. It enables me to get my thoughts out and share a lot of them with you each morning, and I have high hopes that, as the band gets out there more, we will see more traffic through here. But I need you all to know that everyone who has taken part in the Doheny Family with me this year is very special to me. To know that even at this early stage in the bands career, there are people who want to take part, who do artwork, post comments and thoughts, put up our video's for us, and generally get involved in a positive way......this makes me feel very humble and very happy. A HUGE thank you to every one of you.

I will be back tomorrow (and maybe I'll have a better question than "Re-do the 12 Days Of Xmas" which only Kim did!! That one went down like a lead balloon!!). Todays pic is of Tony and I obviously having fun onstage at the Key Club. Till next time

Peace

Billy

Guess my 12 days wins by default! ^_^

This is the first time I've got to hear Evergreen (from the videos) sounds awesome. I really like the vibes coming off of Doheny, it's refreshing when a lot of the alternative scene can be annoyingly angsty (like angst for the sake of it).

One thing I meant to ask a few entries ago was is there a Doheny PO Box we can send christmas cards / prezzies to the band to? I know PSI records has a PO BOX set up in your neck of the woods, but didn't want to send anything Doheny related there if possible.

Thanks so much taking the time for the Blog Billy, and it's cool of you to think we're special to you. As the BT advert once went, "It's good to talk" :)

Billy,

How are you enjoying yout TiVo? Are you loving it?

Billy, it's not like the 12 days was a BAD idea, it's just that there was really no topping Kim's!!!

And yes, I would like to know where to send some Christmas greetings to you myself...

I was chatting with a Dave fan in Canada over the weekend and suggested he check out your site...he is HOOKED!!!

Yeah, mine was great, wasn't it? **looks smug** hahaha!

Another thing ... Tony's bass looks well sexy! Really nice looking piece.

Just listened to CFR clips too, sounds like so much fun, I haven't laughed hard for a good while so it was great listening to the shenanigans you get up to. I'm gonna have to make an international call and see if I can say hi on the next live show, in the new year.

Hello, Billy dear.

Was the part where you called up escort girls before, or after you guys talked to me?

I can't wait to hear the special!

hey billy, just watched the videos you provided, awesome. What a great live performance you guys put on, it just makes me want to see more. I'm also very impressed with your visualizations. Very nice work on those.

We want to thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us and allowing us to be a part of the doheny family. You and the rest of the band are great and we do love you guys. ;)

Thanks Karen for hosting the video clips, I've now got to go back and watch them again and dream of the day I'll actually get to see them for real. lol

hugs,
tina

First, I want to say how blown away I was by the Key Club clip. It was awesome. It really made me want to see you guys perform live because I can tell you put on a great show--great energy and great music. Something we need more of these days. And the "12 Days of X-mas" question was certainly not a bad one, but Kim did a hell of a job on it! I was so busy at work today it was nice to come home and read this complimentary blog...Because without a doubt it is a resounding "you're welcome, Billy"...I think we want to do our part as fans and since we are given the opportunity to give back, we do so with genuine enthusiasm and enjoyment as well as graciousness that you have taken the time to provide information and more importantly the time to care about forming a close knit community with the fans. So, thank you :)
Now...get your asses to the east coast! hehe

Does Jon really have as big an ego as people make out? I heard he got pissed off 'cos Jim Davies bedded a girl he wanted

Posted by: BOB at December 14, 2004 01:08 PM

Hah.

I'd probably be plenty pissed off to!

Billy,

I'm in Columbus, OH. this week on business, planning on going by the club Dime was playing the night of his untimely death and showing some Doheny love anywhere I can find within.

Just wanted to show some support from our community, hope it's cool with you.

Thanks,
Jay
