AHH...THE JOYS OF RADIO
Yep - we definately did agree to do a free, no restrictions Camp Freddy show early next year at The Key Club!! So I suppose I better start thinking about it. I'll call the club today and see if we can arrange a date. And I suppose we should tell the Management as well!! I'll start working on it and give you the details as we get them.
Its a gloomy monday morning here in LA and I just got through going over some photographs for an interview I did for Modern Guitar Online Magazine. I'll let you know when its up. And I posted four pics from the Key Club show taken by my friend, Robert Knight. They are in Doheny Pictures 3 - I will be adding more to that gallery throughout the week. I also just sent off a Camp Freddy site update so that should be up by the end of the week. A few choice pics from New York, Chrome Hearts and Activision, and some info update. Keep an eye out.
I am sending Karen some Quicktime movie clips of the Key Club show, along with a clip of one of the projections I did. I am sure she will get them up when she recieves them. And I wanna thank both her and WhitePony for the generous server space offers. I'll split it between you two as and when we get stuff to upload.
Today is more Doheny rehearsals. We have another new track to start working on, and we still have a couple of songs (California, and I Found My Summer) that we have had for a while that need to be worked up into a live situation. I would like the band to have about 14 or 15 tracks to choose from when we put our set list together. That way we can keep changing it up and keeping it fresh.
And I will be going to the free Motley Crew thing tonight at The Palladium. VERY interested to see how they sound, and of course, the big news item......how does Vince look after his MakeOver!! Full report tomorrow.
I am off to get my day started. Top of the list is to take my brand new Henry Dwarte black suede pants back, as they split around the crotch onstage, during the CF Activision show!! Henry is a wizard with leather and suede, so I am sure he will have them operational very soon. Have a great day everyone, and stay happy and healthy.
Peace
Billy

hey billy, love the black and white pics. I adore B/W, a lot of the time when working with photos I'll change them to b/w, I just like the quality of b/w.
Pony, this may sound horrible, but all I want is for the whole xmas season to be over with. Not having a good season this year and I just want to start the new year, it's got to get better, right? ;)
But I do wish you all a very happy holiday season, whatever holiday everyone celebrates.
hugs,
tina

Dude, you've got to tell us whether Vince - up close & personal - still looks like Jon Lovitz.

LOL Alchemy...
Ok, I got the scoop on the CFR thing with the UK broadcast. This is what I got emailed back to me from Total Rock Radio today...
It will be one hour a week. The same hour will be repeated on Thursday. Next week it will be the 2nd hour of the first CF show and so on ...
So, there you have it. At that rate, they will never catch up, but at least it gives some of us junkies a chance to either listen again or catch shows we've missed.

Hey Billy,
Just saw a snippet of The Crue reuniting on VH1 and the vid for their new tune.
I found myself in a strange quandry, much like the dilemna of looking away when passing a car wreck or gawking directly at the carnage.
I, much to my surprise, was in full gawk mode, embarrassed in a way I've not felt since I caught myself enjoying an old episode of "The Monkees" on Nick at Nite.
Being the musical elitist I am and the prodigy of punk you are, how do I deem this
indiscretion, "guilty pleasure" or just flat out "guilty as hell"?.
Thanks,
Jay

guilty as sin.. How many times did they have to listen to BG&E before they figured out what Duffy was doing?

"...all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth..." lol...I don't really have a good answer for that one...my favorite thing to do for the Christmas season is to shop for gifts, but this year I am dead-flat broke =( so its not as much fun as I usually have in the month of December. But I still love the time of year and don't get depressed (as i know many people do) over the losses in my life, I just celebrate the present and make the best of it! =) (try to at least!!)

When I was very little, I watched my first awards show, Dolly Parton was running to accept an award, and the front of her dress ripped open...She took it all in stride...commenting to the audience that her Daddy always told her "you can't put 10 pounds of potatoes in a 5 pound bag".....

Sigh...not such a great day under the grey skies. Anyway, for Hannukah I would love to get into grad school! I have waited for so long! Also, I had an idea today while talking to Natalie online....I should be the CFR chat room correspondent and check in during CFR during chats to give the latest report of chat happenings...What do you think?

Billy...taking a day off from us!!! For shame! Just kidding ;) I watched the whole Big in '04 thing today just to see VR at the end, and it was definitely worth it (even though the rest of the show was kinda lame)!
