WHOLE LOTTA FREDDY

Steven_and_billy_2I am still in shock over the whirlwind trip to Vegas the last couple of days. It was another incredible experience for me, and although it was hectic, the actual show was amazing!! We played at Body English in The Hard Rock to open the new Chrome Hearts store in Las Vegas. And as usual, the Camp Freddy site will have a full update in a few days with a bunch of pictures. The line up for this show was very cool - Steven Tyler, Courtney Love, Scott Weiland, Billy Duffy, Slash, Duff McKagan, Steve Jones, Michael Des Barres, Jerry Cantrell......... and we blew the roof off the place!! SO much fun. Playing with Tyler is a huge blast - that guy is a legend, and so much fun to watch. A big thanks to Chrome Hearts for putting the thing on and love and respect to everyone that played with us.

WP - The LIT dates are still not confirmed. There was talk of us playing three or four shows with them at the end of December, but the agents are still working it all out, so who knows if they'll happen or not. If we get a confirmation, you will be the first to know.

Alchemy - I dont really paint or draw....but I love messing around with computer artwork. And I do write a lot. Bits of scripts, bits of a book, bits of lots of things. One day I will consolidate and actually publish something!

Jay - I will try and give you all a clue before CF shows happen. But the problem is that we REALLY dont know who is turning up before we get there. But I'll give you a heads up next time if I can.

Tonight is Camp Freddy radio with Donovan, Dave and myself, and I'm sure we'll be talking about the Vegas show. And Dave and I will be plugging the Dec 2nd show with Doheny, The Panic Channel and The Tints any chance we get!! Hope you tune in, or get it on the Indie Website. And I'll leave you with this - when a band plays a show, they get what's called a 'rider' - a list of items to be placed in the dressing room. Usually food, drink, etc. The most famous Rider incident is David Lee Roth requesting a huge bowl of M+M's with all the brown ones taken out!! So if you were putting together your rider, what items would you put on it? Have fun, and I'll see you soon.

Billy

My rider would include:
Jumbo Breaded deveined Shrimp with cocktail sauce and ranch dressing
Hershey Bars
Cherry 7-up
Cherry Coke
Bottled Water

What does your rider usually include Billy?

Have a wonderful day! :-)

Here's my rider:

10 rooms for 60 staff (decorated in white muslin and lace), three personal chefs, a wind machine and a pure-white microphone and stand.

Beans, rice and chicken, room temperature Evian, and "NO TOMATO, APPLE OR GRAPE JUICE!"

Egyptian 250 thread count sheets, coffee stirred counter-clockwise only, and pathways prepared in dvance with the scent of gardenia.

No glass in the dressing room that could be used to inflict harm. Two bottles of Cristal Champagne, 2 bottles of white wine, bendy straws, burgers, fries, chicken potpies and spare ribs... plus several kittens and puppies to play with.

Oh wait, no. That's MARIAH CAREY'S rider.

Ciao!

Billy,

Dave mentioned on 6767 that your wife got footage of the CF gig Thursday, any chance of us getting a look at it?

Enjoy your Saturday.

Well, since someone else is making it, I'd want a full breakfast buffet--complete with eggs, pancakes, CRISP bacon, cheese, belgian waffles with fresh fruit. And also real strong French coffee with those really good little chocolates they give you at the French cafés. Oooh, also some of those cinnabons, they are soo good. I would also a full service bar. I could have cristal champagne with my breakfast. And there would be a chef there to make me omlettes...Then I would need a personal trainer to help me work off the fat fest...

Enjoyed CFR tonight (this morn) too. Yes, I woke up on time. I hope "Mr.Ant" takes you up on the invitation. Which radio station in the UK has CFR in syndication, or will have? I've forgotten already.

(also, nose around this guy's site...its pretty funny!)

heya, yes i've been rather quiet this past week, but hopefully I'll be in a better mood to post. ;)

As for a rider, nothing for me thanks, I wouldn't need anything, just someplace quiet with nobody to bother me. ;)

pmsl at the two brittish tea ladies serving, Lisa! What I want to know is, would they be wearing regulation hairnets and talking non-stop about the weather and the youth of today?

Happy Sunday
