NORMAL SERVICE IS RESUMED
First of all, I want to apologize for not posting more regularly. When I am sick, I just want to crawl into a hole, and hide from the world. So I do!!! But the good news is that I am feeling WAY better now – I just have the final stages of it, which is nothing to how I felt a few days ago. I want to thank everyone for all the Get Well messages, virtual cards and emails that I received. You truly are a wonderful lot.
I actually did some work yesterday. We spent the day in The Village recording studios, recording a track that might get released to aid the troops overseas. I cant say too much right now, in case it doesn’t happen. When I get the OK to give you guys some details, I will. It was a fun session, and I’ll be back there next week sometime to mix the song.
Now then – Anyone who tells you that you can’t get advance tickets for next Thursdays Key Club show is wrong!! Here is the number to call – 310 274 5800. That’s the Box Office number. We are rehearsing later this week, and early next week, trying to finish the process of adding a new song to the set, and re-working a couple of older ones. The band sounds so good right now – I’m really excited to play next weeks show, and really looking forward to sharing the bill with Dave’s band. The Panic Channel are an awesome band and it should be a great night.
Not really a lot else to report – life tends to slow down to a crawl when you lie in bed for a week, staring at bad daytime movies on the Lifestyle Channel!! I want to wish everyone who reads this a very happy Thanksgiving – be safe over the holiday, and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do….which leaves it WIDE open for you!! I’m staying in town this weekend, so no doubt I will be posting my usual ramblings. Until tomorrow, have a beautiful day.
Peace
Billy

HI Billy,
For those of us not fortunate enough to make the Dec. 2nd show, how 'bout some insight on the addition to the set? Could it be my beloved "California"?
Have a good Thanksgiving.
Thank you,
Jay

Hey Billy! So glad you are feeling better! Sometimes crawling under the covers (with cigs on one pillow, nyquil on the other, and some starbucks on the night table?) is the best medicine. I wish I could go to the Key Club show (again, East coast be damned...). So I have also been working on the dh logo. Rather addicting now that I caved in and bought Paint Shop Pro 9. I did some cool effect with lightning in the background. Good stuff. Well, hope you have a great Thanksgiving Billy and all my fellow Dohenyites.

Hi Billy; Glad you're feeling a lot better. Good to see you on here.
Remember to ask for those two tea ladies at the Dec 2nd show. ;)
Maybe even Flea will be there with those yoga lessons! :D
Have a good Thanksgiving to everyone in the USA.
When I was over there, I used to go to an "alternative" Thanksgiving, at a Native American gathering. Fond memories.
Dancing and laughter. If you ever get that opportunity, go! :D
Much Love,
Lisa

well guess who's home sick today. ;b I hope it's just a 24 hour thing. This is the one thing I hate about living alone, no one to look after you. ;) I think even my hair hurts today LOL
Glad to know you're feeling better Billy. That song for the soldiers sounds intriguing, I hope it all goes well.
Lisa, make me a cup of tea luv would ya. ;)
I'm going back to bed I think, have a good day people.
hugs,
tina
