METAL MAYHEM
Good morning everyone. I feel rested and ready to go after a day of no emails or cellphones, and lying on my bed watching Sunday evening movies. Oh yeah, and playing Grand Theft Auto, San Andreas. That game is just plain wrong!!! I mean, I'm playing it and loving it, but how do they get away with that shit? I mean, the idea of the game is to steal cars, shoot rival gang members, and tear unsuspecting women from their cars and club them to death. Very serene - very loving.......BRILLIANT game!!!
Again, The Raiders put on a show of classic football - how to lose in the most dramatic way possible!! Oh my god - pull it together guys, its just embarrassing now.
Today is Doheny at The Roxy day. We go onstage at 11.30pm - yeah, its a late one - but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless. Its $8 if you download the flyer from our main site - www.dohenymusic.com.

A: Both. Always order half and half. A cesar salad and vegetable soup from Louises. Nice!!

A: An Indian yesterday lunch. Veg curry and Onion Bhaji. Forgot to eat dinner, and I dont eat breakfast.

A: A permanent black crayon with streaks of blue in it.
6. WEATHER RIGHT NOW?
A: LA sunshine baby. A constant 72 degrees.
7. LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE?
A: My tech, Rob Dukes. Called to see if my guitars are ok for tonight.
8. FAVORITE DRINK?
A: Venti Gingerbread Latte from Starbucks. Of Course.
9. FAVORITE SPORT?
A: World Superbike Racing, followed by NFL (with the exception of this season.)
10. EYE COLOR?
A: Blue (with a hint of green)
11. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS?
A: Probably should, but no, I dont. I prefer to remain blind!

14. FAVORITE FOOD?
A: A toss up between Indian, and a good Sushi meal. The chocolate Bento Box at Nobu is a winner.

A: I-Spy, on cable, last night in bed.

A: Natural Born Killers, Star Wars, and Harry Potter!!
17. FAVORITE DAY OF THE YEAR?
A: Feb 9th (My Birthday), March 1st (My marriage Birthday), June 16th (My sober Birthday), and today.

A: Absolutely not. Always go for it. The worst they can say is....No.

A: Summer all year long. I am a sunshine baby.

A: Until you meet 'The One', its all about one-night stands. The more experience you get, the better you will be when that special one comes along and knocks you off your feet.

Personally, I never cared for one night stands. Okay---a couple of them were fun. But I guess you get to a certain point when they aren't anymore. I have a friend (girl) who is into them, so I guess it's more a matter of personal preference than gender. Just my opinion. Anyway, I wish I could get my ass to the west coast one of these days for a show...currently debating on whether or not to see VR in Philly...oh no...Wachovia Center on a Wednesday...noooo way...Okay, scratch that.
I agree about the jeans too...if only I could wear them everyday and my job didn't have a business casual dress code....

I agree with you Julia. I just find one night stands to be pretty empty and unfulfilling. But a lot of people are commitment-phobic, and therefore, one night stands would be preferable to them.
I also don't feel all that comfortable with people right away, I am much less inhibited with someone that I've known for a while, but I think it's the opposite for some.

WhitePony-there is a wallpaper with the lyrics. You can find it in the Archives->August->Cancelled!!, and it is also in the "Your Artwork" section. Hope that helps. :-)
I'm sorry to hear about the Raiders. I just checked the score for my team (NYGiants) and they won. Their record is 5-2, I'm shocked last time I watched them play (last year) they sucked!

Excellent show Billy! My poor friend who came with me was sick with a really sore throat, so we didn't stay at all after you went off stage...but you all did a great job! There was great energy there tonight :) Thanks for another amazing Doheny show!
