I wasn't at the show last night due to that small geographical issue called CANADA, but I could feel your frustration when I read your post this morning.

I know it means a lot to the bunch of us that loaf around in here that you care about us so much. Don't worry too much about last night. Even though I wasn't there, I know we all understand that some shit is just out of our hands.

Let's hope you have a better time at tonight's gig.

Billy, I understand your pain about last night. I hate when things don't go as planned especially when you've checked and re-checked that things go as planned. I had been studying for my grad school entrance exam. But what I didn't know is that the test changed from 100 questions to 120 and the practice tests were way easier than the actual test which is made up of nothing but analogies. I don't mind analogies, but the creator of this test must have been insane. It was worse than I expected, that's for sure. I also didn't expect to go to South Street and have such a tough time finding a place that sells decent nose rings! It's sad how much I love my nose piercing. I used to have my eyebrow pierced but I took that out once it started to grow out. It was an impulse piercing. I got it after I found out the Cult show was cancelled in Pittsburgh because of Aerosmith and poor Steven Tyler's sore throat. I was so pissed I took my $80 refund and spent most of it shoving a needle through my eyebrow. So, that's my Cult anecdote/when things don't go your way story of the day...

That is so crap! First show in ages and JS has only just got back, and they pull that shit on you. Just piss poor planning by the sound of it (there's my piece of alliteration for the day).

Hope tongiht's show goes a lot better, and I'll see if I can drag my arse out of bed at 4am monday morning (although been suffering from a shitty cold I picked up in Manchester on Monday).

hey, any of you guys listen to CFR last night? I had Indie 1031 up and was listening to it and CFR just started then it went dead. Have not been able to get anything from the station at all since then? Wondering if it's just me or has anyone else had any problems?

I watched a movie instead, haven't done that since I August on a saturday night. ;)

I didn't have any problems listening Tina, but I know it died for Julia too.

My beef with Indie last night was that they seemed to start the 'repeat' episode about 1/2 way thru even tho it was 6pm. Billy and Dave were right in the middle of taking calls to give something away when the show faded in. Then at around 7pm, a different episode started. They ran it until about 8:15, inserted commercials in the wrong places and then just cut it off. It was really annoying, but oh well. Thank god they were repeats.
