BIRTHDAY PARTY
So first of all, you can blame AT+T for the lack of a post last night from our dressing room! There was no cell reception at all, so despite wanting to say hi to everyone, we were unable to. But the show was a lot of fun. Everyone had a blast, and judging by the drunken dance moves the birthday boy and family were pulling when Courtney pulled them all up onstage during Iggy's Search And Destroy, they all had a good night too! I'll have pics and a set list put up on the Camp Freddy website, but highlights for me were Scott Weiland and Steve Jones on the Sex Pistols song, Bodies......Billy Duffy windmilling on Jailbreak......and me being assaulted during I Wanna Be Your Dog by Courtney Love and Mark McGrath!!! All in all - a great Saturday night out. By the way, thats Ms Love singing. Look carefully and you can see Dave behind her...and I have no idea who the dancing blonde is!!
I am posting this from my hotel room in Anaheim (from my phone) and while I have read all your great comments from yesterdays post, it has taken me twenty minutes to type this much!! (The keys on my phone are TINY!) So please bear with me. I will type a full post tomorrow morning when I am back in LA and hopefully I will have some pics from the show as well. For now, my thumbs are killing me, so have a great Sunday and I'll be back tomorrow.

There should be a Best Of Camp Freddy DVD, sounds like you have all the fun and us lesser mortals miss out on the action!

Ok, I've started the "Let's have Camp Freddy play for Linda's Birthday" fund. There's an automatic invite to anyone residing East of the Mississippi who contributes to this worthy cause (cuz those West Coast folks already have all the fun)

LiNda--sign me up for the pledge drive! I've got wheels and a deep yearning to visit lovely Allentown. Besides, I haven't been to a good party or concert in ages. And my last actual birthday outing turned out awful. Up to Niagara falls with my friend and her mopey asshole boyfriend (now ex). He was one of those people that kept the TV on while sleeping, I hate that! Not to mention he loved his dog a little too much. I don't get that...A big slobbery boxer that he let sleep in his bed. And worst, he (guy, not boxer) was the only one to offer to take me to a bar on my 21st birthday. I had to get drunk with that asshole and my friend never showed up. Maybe that means Doheny or Camp Freddy should save the date of January 19th, cause I need a decent birthdy party too. And please, if you could, bring Billy Duffy too cause I think all us northeasters need a good dose of windmill action...

Jules, I'd be happy to have my birthday party in Philly, no need for you to take a roadtrip to the lovely Lehigh Valley.
Windmill action? It's been so long I really can't remember. I definitely need a dose of that!

BOOOOOOOHOOOOO..... :( I can't go to the October shows:( hmmmmmm....unless you want to cancel the gig with Orgy and play at my friends wedding! LOL!! Damn Orgy and their rescheduling, coulda made the orig dates!!! Oh well...hopefully can go to the Metal Skool show! ;)
