CF RADIO

Its Saturday again - and time for another Camp Freddy Radio extravaganza!! Dave is out of town again - Vegas, playing poker - so Donovan and I will try and make up for his absence. I know we have Flea's daughter scheduled as a guest. She has a band called The Tints and they will be coming in to play a track or two from the stuff they've been recording with Flea this week.
One of my new Gibson Les Pauls arrived yesterday - a Gold Top - and it is beautiful. I cant wait to bust it out at a show. I'll definately use it at next weeks Camp Freddy show at the Nascar race.
Yesterday was so busy for me that I had no time to post - we had rehearsal yesterday and worked on new stuff, plus we started to look at California, a track I never thought we would play live. But it sounded pretty good, so we'll keep going with it and see if it makes the grade live.
Here are a few answers to some questions.

Electric Mayhem and Julia - By all means share the Stimulator stuff. It's been a while since I heard it as well!!

WhitePony and Karen - Very generous of you - I will talk to Jon this week about the Drive Me home movie. I dont see any reason not to do it, now that you guys are offering the web space to host it. Once we have finished the live DVD idea, we will see how it turns out, and maybe we will offer it online as well.

Abby - We will be confirming more shows very soon. The Orgy dates were re-scheduled for October and I believe we will be announcing other dates as well. I will find out whats happening next week and let you know.

Stacey - Great question!! I never wanna hear any New Kids On The Block again, thats for sure!! Stuff like Freebird, or Stairway To Heaven will always be cool to hear though. Let me think about that one - I'll come up with some answers.

OK - thats it from me. I just want to thank everyone who has started to post regularly and a big shout to the 6767 crew - you guys over there have really got it going on. Gotta go get my playlist together for tonight. Have a great weekend and I'll be back on monday.

Peace
Billy

Hi Billy,

Anyway, very cool about the new gold top. Tell me how your relationship with Gibson works if you would, do you get all your gear free via sponsorship or just the occassional bone before you guys get a deal?

Thanks dude!

Hi Billy

I have heard 'California' a few times on Indie, and really like it...and in releasing it to them, I would have thought you might have even been considering it for a possible single. Just wondering what it is about that track then, that makes you think it wouldn't be great live?

Billy,

Just let me know I have space allocated for the vid... I am also working on a new site that will have some stuff to help promote your site. I would love to help get more traffic over to your site.
